[Resolved]  HP India / Pavellion Dv2214 Notebook — Poor Product and Service by HP

I have a HP dv2214tu series Notebook in warranty period (till 28th April 2008). I gave my laptop for servicing at Compaq Service Center A2/177, Safdarjang Enclave, New Delhi on 12th of January 2008 as its DVD drive was not working . Its been more than 15 days and my DVD drive has not been replaced yet. I called them 10s of time and they are saying that they received my DVD drive thrice, but every time they were faulty. Its really pathetic that how can a new DVD drive be faulty, thrice!!!!! If this is the service provided by the company like HP, which really disappointing.

I navdeep singh have purchase hp 700 i (laptop) from your chandigarh retail office at sec 18.i registerd online n i got redemption no. KXC4ER81EG and also send the cheque of 500 rs (cheque no 000011, dated 19/11/07) pay to . Solution integreted marketing service pvt ltd. and address it to HP redemption Cell c/o solution integreted mrkt service pvt ltd first floor A/2 olka industrial area
phase 1 New Delhi 110020. but till date i didnt get any in formation abt cheque or the thing i hav to claim TV tuner and USB data card it more then 2 month hav passed .plz let me know the status n u can call me at [protected]

now i have facing so many prob1ems in keyboards and mouse. i had comp1aint to customer care so may times but they are not responcing proper1y. so tota11y i have dipressed with this prodcts

I have laptop TX1003au.I have DVD driver problem.I want run xp instead o[censored]seless vista.I am not able to install audio and graphics.I had battery back up problem also.when,i purchased laptop,they told me that have not received any. recovery cd from the hp side.which contains necessary drivers.company is not provided any recovery cd for distributor.Is it true? I disappointed Withworthless HP laptop product support.how to get that recovery dvd?i need at any cost without stories.

I have bought a Compaq Presario C748 on 20th of Feb 2008 Wednesday. It comes with DOS. I bought it from FOCUZ computers , banerji Road , Near North Railway Station, Earnakulam (kochi). The reseller had installed the XP and gave it to me. After two days o[censored]se I have found that the microphone inbuilt is not working. Then i have taken it back to the reseller (Focuz) and they said they cannot do anything and suggested to go to HP service center. Then I contacted HP service and they said this Laptop is designed for Vista. I have to take the system back to the reseller and they installed Vista . Now the microphone is working ,but the display goes blank very often. I checked and told them there itself and they said it is some driver Issue. I used to get the error message pop up as the display driver stopped responding and recovered. Then they installed some driver and i trusted that the issue resolved and came back home. Once i started using it again the same display issue. I called them back and they said go to the HP service . I gave it to HP and they said 1 day for diagnose and they will say the issue next day. Next day they said that the System board is defective. Need minimum 4 days for replacement . I contacted my reseller and he said he will replace . Then i taken it to Focuz back , now they are saying they nead the carton box the laptop came alongwith (which i have never taken they loat it somewhere). With great distress i shouted to them ( I know that is of no use). Then again back to HP and they have cloased the old ticket. Now one day for diagnosis with new ticket , second day they called me and said they dont have the spare board minimum one week , board has to come from singapore. Ideally speaking I have paid 30k for something stupid from HP, neither HP or the FOCUZ computer doesn't care for that and not ready for replacement. It is the 16 th day today and i am waiting.

SO please never buy a COMPAQ or HP product .
Also people from KOCHI and EARNAKULAM or Keala never trust the FOCUZ group. When I went to buy they were polite to me ,explained i will get service even after the warrenty period and all nice stuff. But once you pay money they are the BOSS and you are NUTS. SO please don't trust the FOCUZ group.
Especially FOCUZ computers.
i have bought a dv6226tx pavilion notebook. as i got a problem in my dvd drive i took it to the HP jayanagar service centre. they replaced it with a new one which they claimed to be a new one but finally the technician said that HP never replaced with new spares. they only give repaired spares or used ones. is that true? i can give u the name of the technician and all the details. contact me [protected]. my dvd is still not working.
I have HP Laptop DV6226TX purchased in May2007, i have given my laptop for servicing in Pune for 6 times for different reasons eachtime, 2 time laptops mother board is been changed, laptops battery is not working properlly, but service station says battery is perfectlly okay.
What if my mother board required replacement after may2007, on asking this question service technician says purchase new warrenty for 2 years, which would cost you about 4000 rs.
i am confused about what to do.
i am very much Unsatisfied.

no quality of product...had to format d pc a zilliobn times jst to improve d speed of d PC...n hard disk doesnt partition...
wid no proper recovery CD...abt 100gb of Data lost evey time...
contact HP(Hopeless Products) service centre ...!!!...n voila...!!!...their unfriendly n incompetent staff askin their senior 4 directions every minute or two.. ...n on top of that...they ask me to c d prob 4 maself if im 222 gud an engineer...!!!...

I have dv 2214 it looses display frequently. I am totally fed up with this and this is getting on my nerves. Moreover the so called new revolution from Windows( Vista) is no less then a big BOO... I hope the company like HP is npt going to loose their customers so easily but if I dont get any solution from our side, definitely you are going to loose some soon.

I am a student of PGDM, AKGIM, GHAZIABAD. I have been using HP 550-Laptop just for last 2 months, perfomance is very poor in coparison to its configaration: RAM- 1GB, HDD-160, Processor:core2duo 1.44 GB speed, BUT whene i opareate it it is very slow. One of my friend has Lenovo, which has low configaration than my, that works nice and bettar than HP550.
i have Compaq laptop model c700. when i am plugging in headphone the main speaker not mute, both are simultaneously working.
generally when we insert the headphone lead main speaker become mute but it is not happening in my laptop can any body tell me what is exactly going on...or please send me the HP service centre address in kolkata...
i bought 1 no. 27B HP Cartg. Everyday (Black) from your authorised shop "New India Business Machines, 18 B N Road Lal Bagh Lucknow, as per invoice no. NIBM/RETAIL/979 Dtd. 10/9/2008. I have taken only 40 to 45 copy till date this Cartg. are showing problem. we are using this type of cartg. so many times and we have take out 500 to 600 copy of same cartg. previously.I had visited your HP service centre, "INGRAM MICRO INDIA PVT. LTD. 7 WAY LANE ASHOK MARG lUCKNOW, Where Mr. Ashawani Kumar on reception this gentlemen with out taking my complaint reject the said cartage and behave very bad with me.Sir i am your customer since last five years and use almost HP Product this time your product and your service centre man really hurt me. This is my request to look my complaint seriously otherwise i am going to take legal action . thanks
