[Resolved] HSBC Bank — Bank attitude towards the customer | |||
My intial interest rate was 8% and in 5 years they have increased to 15.5% . And. When I asked for reduction rate of interest in bank they took a letter and they said some one will call me back and resolve it in 5 business days which didn't happen but a person by name Chirag called me from hyderbad and he said he is working on rate reduction and will get back to me. He got me after few days and told methe rate of 13.75 which was not accepted by me and I told him am not happy and there is no response after that . I wrote a mail to nodal officer on 15 th June on the same subject and got a automated reply saying they will attend the complaint in 10 days and after several reminders I got a reply saying we have verified the details of your account credit card account interst rate details are changed as follow and this is what irritated me where my account is home loan and they are talking about a credit card which I don't hold with HSBC . And I asked for rate reduction and they have mentioned dates of interest rate change which we can see mere negligence on the customer. When I replied back again they have diverted to same person Chirag who again called me and tok time to discuss and get the issue resolved and he called me today and he is talking something non sense instead of reducing the rate. After complaint on the website and to nodal officer they started calling me to discuss on the interest rate but of no use, they are asking to deposit 0.5 % of my principal amount upfront to reduce the interest rate which I am not agreeing from the beginning, there is no change in the attitude of customer service rep, they are ok we going to consumer forum or what ever may be. They want money first but not the action from their side. Also when I said I will take my lawyer to the bank they are asking not to do so and they will resolve the issue but nothing happened except that they want the money. May be I have to seriously consider going to consumer forum lawyer as they are wasting my time and mental peace as well.
