[Resolved] HSBC Bank — Negative profile on CIBIL | |
I had credit card no. [protected] of HSBC Bank. I received this card in the month of January’2007. After getting the card I had not received a single statement. When I made my first transaction on this card I was unaware of Billing date and due date. After some days I enquired about my due date from customer care, then I came to know that I’m late, due date of payment was overdue. I paid the amount of my transaction immediately by cheque no. 936836 drawn on Bank of Baroda, which was cleared on 06.12.07. After payment Bank made a call for late fee and interest charges, I told them that I was not aware of my due date that’s why my payment was late and I requested to waive these charges. I told that not providing the statement at right time is your fault, so I’m not liable to pay any unfair charges. But Bank increased that charges every month. I sent my card back to you. Then I received a call from your Head office that I waived all charges levied on you and now Bank send a new card to you please use it as new card. I received a card again in the month of February’2008 and made a transaction of Rs. 20000/- and paid by Cheque No. 949328 drawn on Bank of Baroda which was cleared on 05.04.2008. I paid my dues before due date. After the transaction I received my first statement in which all old charges demanded again, I did not paid that unfair charges and same as previous charges increased by time. Finally on 25.09.2008 I cut the card in four pieces and sent it again after writing many letters to the bank. In the month of February’2009 I came to know that my CIBIL profile has been made negative by the bank. Bank told me nothing about this. Please solve this matter as soon as possible.
