HSBC — Using Abusive language , threatening and shouting
Hi,I had HSBC credit card and used it for some amount 4 years back and was unable to pay as there was no communication fron HSBC and they even never sent me a single statement till date and never even emailed me since i have taken the card (taken the card with huge harrasement by the agents ). Now after 4 years somebody emailing me that she is my friend and i said i dont have any frined my that name at all, then she forced to give me a call and i felt i should make it clear to stop harrasing me, when i called her she said i have to pay 4 times the amount which i need to pay for my Credit card ( only after calling i realised she is contacting me for HSBC credit card- she could have directly told me that), i said i can pay but send me something in written or send through email from official hsbs or whatever the agency you are then she says ok i will release arrest warrant and put your parents in jail, i said where is this discussion going, i am ready to pay but i want a offical email and your contact details becasue you did not contact me throuhg any HSBC representation and since i have takem card i do not have any communication from HSBC and now after 4 years why are you emaling me now why not since the day i got the credit card- she then used the most abbusive language and i was like shocked why would a person shout at me when i said i will pay- there was no problem at all- she abused my family and no one would can take that and after shouting at me she just hung up her self- i felt very much hurt and definetly thought this is not HSBC how can HSBC use such a language and absolutely no respect. For no reason i had to take such an abbusive language i was glad that somebody from HSBC tried to communicate with me but not anymore becase thats not HSBC but some lady who tried to trick and then abused, so from i should not talk to anybody stranger who cannot say whome they represnt.
Concern- Why could HSBC not email me what a worst customer experience, had very high repect for HSBC but after this experience do not know how can a person from HSBC talk to me like this that too this was the first time somebody called since i have been HSBC customer.

HSBC — Undue amount on Credit card
Undue Charges on the Closed Credit CardsI had an HSBC credit card some 2 yrs back, due to uneccessary charges on amount I paid through credit card i stopped using the card.
There are two issues i want to mention :-
1. I have used HSBC card to make payment of Rs 18000 and which I have paid in 10 days. While giving card they said that there will be no charge on any amount which is within your card limit if you pay withing 52 days but they charged me Rs 130 extra for that payment saying that they are surplus charges u need to pay. After that I stopped using my credit card of HSBC.
I made whatever amount was due in my card. My card got expired 1 year back in Feb 2008.
Now after 1 yrs I get to know that some Rs. 5005 amount is due in my card and I'll have to make this payment . I have been told that it was actually the membership charges of 700 Rs which becomes Rs 5005
At the time of the issue of the card I was told that this was 'free for life' card and there would be no additional fees at all whatsoever. .
Now the recovery dept. reps are asking me make the settlement amount but I dont understand why I should pay anything at all for a service that I am not availing
This is a total RIP OFF on HSBC's part.
Put a FIR against them..Lodge a police complaint and we are their with you..dont worry.
They have done the same for me also. After 3 years, they have come back asking me to pay more than 10000Rs. That too they have meant has Opening balance. No records for transaction. Atrocious HSBC.

HSBC Credit Card — Harassment of HSBC credit card people for undue amount
Dear Sir,I was holding a HSBC gold Card No. [protected] since from 2007. At the time of issuing me the Card, HSBC agent promised me that, it is a life time free card and also told me that the add on card will also be a free card. If annual fee will appear, please call to Customer Care, they will reverse it. In the 1st year I have never been a defaulter. At the completion of 1 year I received a statement from HSBC charging the annual fees, even though I had cleared all my dues( i.e. amount actually purchased by me). I immediately contacted the customercare and complained the same. They said they will waive my card fees, but the add on card fee I will have to pay elso the add on card will be inactive. I requested them to make the add on card in-active as I have never used the add on card since I received it. But despite several complains no steps were taken by HSBC, the recovery people started harassing me. On
24th April 2008, I send a mail to [protected]@hsbc.co.in, requesting to solve the issue. Personally I called customer care several times to solve the issue. But of no use. Every time the customer care executive would assure me to solve the issue, but again i receive bills with increased amount.
Since quite couple of days HSBC people are harassing me and my wife in phone and using some foul language. Please help me. What for am I being harrasssed.
