MANY THANKS OF POSTING THE ISSUE YOU HAVE HAD WITH HSBC-AIG RELATED. MY EXPERIENCE WITH HSBC BANK'S CREDIT CARD IS VERY BITTER. I HAD 2 CARDS OF HSBC, ONE OF WHICH HAS BEEN SETTLED A FEW MONTHS BACK AT THE PAYMENT OF RS. 6000/, DESPITE MY ACUTE FINANCIAL CRISIS AS I HAVE BEEN OUT OF JOB FOR MORE THAT A YEAR. THE HAD STARTED ISSUING ME THE LAWYER'S NOTICE FROM A LAWYER FIRM OF HSBC NEW DELHI CALLED ''JUS-JURIS". SO I ALSO FORWARDED 2 LAWYER'S NOTICES TO HSBC AND ULTIMATELY THEY CALLED ME AND REQUESTED ME TO MAKE A PAYMENT OF RS.6000/ TO GET THE FINAL SETTLEMENT LETTER. SO I COMPLIED WITH & MADE THE PAYMENT. NOW AGAIN JUST AFTER A FEW MONTHS THEY FELL WITH ME WITH ANOTHER CARD ([protected]) WHICH AS THEY HAS AN OUTSTANDING OF RS 27, 000/ WHEN THE CARD HAD THE LIMIT OF RS 23, 000/ AND I DID NOT USE MY CARD FOR MORE THAN A YEAR!!!& COULD NOT MAKE THE PAYMENT OF MINIMUM AMT. PAYABLE IN EACH MONTHM, , WHICH I USED TO PAY IN EVERY MONTH AS MY FINANCIAL CONDITION GOT WORSE.AND I HAD ISSUED A LETTER TO HSBC CREDIT CARD H.O AT MUMBAI UNDER REGISTERED POST. GIVING THE REASON OF MY BEING UNABLE TO MAKE THE PAYMENT. NOW SUDDENLY TODAY I RECEIVED A CALL FROM HSBC CALCUTTA & AND A LADY CALLER TRIED TO PRESSURISE ME CONSTANTLY TO MAKE A PAYMENT OF RS 4, 500/ TO DO THE FINAL SETTLEMENT AS A SPECIAL OFFER IS GOING AT HSBC TO GET THE CREDIT CARDS SETTLED AND THE OFFER IS VALID TILL 29.08.09 M UPTO 12.00P.M.I TOLD HER THAT AS I'M BEING OU OF JOB FOR A PROLONGED PERIOD & BEING A CARDIAC PATIENT I'M UNABLE TO PAY SO MUCH AMOUNT AND ASSURED HER THAT I CAN AFFORD UPTO RS.2, 000/ TO MAKE THE PAYMENT & GET MY. CARD SETTLED BUT SHE WENT ON PERSISITING ME FOR RS 4, 500/ AND THEY SUDDENLY PASSED THE PHONE TO ONE OF HER COLLEAGUE CALLED MR. SUJAN SEN AND HE THEN STARTED PRESSURISING ME TO MAKE THE PAYMENT OF RS 4, 533/ TO MAKE A SETTLEMENT. AND I EXPRESSED MY INABILITY TO MAKE THIS AMOUNT OF PAYMENT & AGAINST THAT I TRIED TO CONVINCE HIM TO ACCEPT RS.2000/ & DO THE SETTLEMENT FOR ME. I ALSO CITED THE EXAMPLE THAT I JUST SETTLED MY ANOTHER CARD OF HSBC BANK FEW MONTHS BACK BY HAVING PAID RS 6, 000/ WHICH CLEARLY SHOWS MY GOOD INTENTION TO MAKE THE PAYMENT. BUT THIS MR. SUJAN SEN DID NOT LISTEN TO ME AT ALL & SAID WITHIN NEXT 24HRS I WILL HAVE TO MAKE THE PAYMENT OF RS.4, 533/ OTHERWISE I WILL FACE THE BAD CONSEQUENCES ARISING OUT OF IT!! I AM SIMPLY ASTONISHED !! AS TO HOW THIS PEOPLE COULD BE SO RUDE & RUTHLESS TO THE GENUINE PERSOND WHO HAVE THE INTENTIONS TO PAY BUT HAVING BEEN CAUGHT IN A FINACIAL CRISIS ARE UNABLE TO PAY THE AMOUNT THEY TRY TO EXTORT! THIS IS A PURE MENTAL TORTURE & HARRASSMENTS!1FTOM HSBC BANK. PLS. IF ANYONE SUGGEST ME WHAT I SHOULD DO IN A SITUATION LIKE THIS, I WILL BE EXTREMELY OBLIGED & GRATEFUL TO HIM! I AWAIT GOOD SUGGESTIONS FROM PEOPLE!

IN CONTINUATION OF MY POST ABOVE I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION THE TELEPHONE NO. OF HSBC BANK FROM WHERE I RECEIVED CALLS ON 27.08 09 = TEL NO. IS [protected]: TIME 4.34P.M. = DURATION OF TALK =15 MINS.25SECS.
MOST SURPRISING IS THE FACT THAT JUST AFTER RECEIVING THE CALL, WHEN AGAN I TRIED TO CALL THEM BACK, THE TELEPHONE NUMBER WAS NOT WORKING. IT WAS FOUND DEAD.
ANY GOOD SUGGESTION GUIDING ME AS TO WHAT I SHOULD DO WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED.

MOST SURPRISING IS THE FACT THAT JUST AFTER RECEIVING THE CALL, WHEN AGAN I TRIED TO CALL THEM BACK, THE TELEPHONE NUMBER WAS NOT WORKING. IT WAS FOUND DEAD.

as per your mail above i am also facing same problem with HSBC and AIG guys...
Please let me know if you got any soultion of this.
i really in tense in order to solve that issue.
