[Resolved]  Hypercity - Vashi — CHEATING AND FRAUD

i need your action on this compliant as it takes TIME to write and express your own woes , so let me not have the sympathy but a strong action against HYPERCITY -VASHI .

Their staff is very careless and negliegnet in their duty ( specific staff ) especially the counter billing staff . They are overcharging as per the offers and prices and when brought to notice they still argue over it .

Uneducated and usless staff if appointed this is the result for unauthorised arguments and then sorry after checking with replies the prices are not update in their system .

I brought 8 sweetlimes and lot of other food n beverages on 7/11/2010. The price was wrongly charged and then they took all the sweetlimes back to check the price and found my price was correct which i told them as it was wriiten down there AND NOT WHAT THEY CHARGED .

They rectified it saying sorry but packed just 1 and not 8 and left some other commodities whcih they charged not to be found when i reached home .

When i called them - they only pleadingly apologised saying that it was their packing mistake and pls come and collect it . I requested them to home deliver as I cannot waste another 200 rs in rickshaw going to vashi again from Ghansoli where i Stay . They said NO , saying home delivery is against company poilcy .

No Store does this the Ambanis - Reliance fREsh , the Birlas 'More' , the Biyanis ' FOOD BAZAAR ; BIG BAZAAR all deliver at home .

For your own mistake you cannot send this and cause grieveiance to Customer and for this I had a quarrel at home for things not brought to cook for the afternnon .

Request your intervention to take cation on the same .

I can only agree with the article above.
I have been in the Bangalore Hyper City only around 6-7 times and been overcharges EVERY SINGLE TIME. The first time I thought it was coincidence. After having discoverd (unfortunately only at home) that they had swiped items two and three times. So I stopped going there.
Recently I gave Hyper City another chance and AGAIN, some hundred INR too much. I realized this at home because the billing was fast and I could not follow the items beeing displayed on the screen, because I was busy packing the groceries into the plastic bags.

Today I checked every item on the display and BANG, after the first two pre packed items the bill was already some 190 INR high (for two items below 9 INR). I told her immediately that the total displayed on the screen is not right and the two items could not be 190 INR. The lady got unfriendly and upset with me (to put it in polite words). She shouted that the items weighed more and what she had typed in was right. I showed her that the price was clearly written on it. She argued and tried to convince me and in the end she had to correct my bill.
I asked the help desk, to file a complaint but the responsible manager was not there and they said there was not really a way to complain. No help here either. Very frustrating this shop and I will stop going there.

I can totally agree with this article above. What a pity actually the shop could have so much potential but shopping there proofs to be quite expensive taking into consideration I had too high a bill EVERY SINGLE TIME. And that cannot be a coincidence.
