i would like to complaint education department of india aside of all the students persuing b-tech course from icfai university dehradun. this college has promised and said that this university has rights as from ugc act 2(f) for b-tech course. but now we are able to know that it does not have any recognition. we are already paying more than 1 lakh per annum and we have been cheated. yes this is correct all icfaitech dehradun and hyderabad students are not satisfied with the icfai management they are cheating all the students. this university should be stopped

ICFAI Tech has emerged as a group of fraud institutions. It claims to be the university in itself, named “ICFAI UNIVERSITY”. But what type o[censored]niversity? Under which Act/rule and of which Government it has been established? Where from its courses are recognized? All these remain mystery. Earlier there were six centers of this group in India, viz, Agartalla, Banglore, Bhubaneshwar, Dehradun, Hyderabad, and Jaipur, with their Head Office at #42, Nagarjuna Hills, Panjagutta, Hyderabad-500082. The tuition fee and other charges of the Institute is almost highest one in the country for B. Tech Course. (It is Rs. 5, 50, 000/- excluding hostel rent, food and lodging etc.) The group claim to impart highest quality of education in B. Tech. Program. But what type of Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate it issues or it will issue is not yet known to any body even to the students who are going to complete their four year courses in a couple of months from now.

The authorities of ICFAI Tech Hyderabad have admitted that they can not issue Degree, as they have not been able to get approval for being a university. The students, around one thousand in number, have been agitating on this issue as their future has fallen in dark. The ICFAI Tech Authorities had leashed terror on the students by stopping their mess, water and power supply to them and ordering them to vacate the hostels. They had threatened the students that they have corpuse of Rupees Five Billions and no one dares to touch & challenge them. Trouble/suffering/fear to the students was so immense that Human Rights Commission had to intervene. Thanks to the HRC that they rescued the students by issuing order vide their no. 2926 of 2009 dated 01.04.2009.
Already the ICFAI Tech has defrauded thousands of students and spoiled their career and put their future in dark. On the other hand, it has opened five new campuses at Chandigarh, Kolkata, Raipur, Ranchi and Rourkee, from the coming session 2009-10. Admission Prospectus and forms of the Institute for are already floated in the market at a cost of Rs.600/-, It is another move to defraud hundreds of innocent and prospective students.
A senior Professor of the ICFAI Tech institute Hyderabad, with the request to remain unanimous disclosed that the management people knows very well how to mint money and has no care for the rules or the career of the students at all. Their legal wing is so experts and intelligent that they can take out any big fishes without wetting their hands. The Professor himself felt cheated and disappointed by joining the ICFAI Tech.
We are the some of Guardians of the unfortunate students admitted in the ICFAI Tech institute at Hyderabad in 2006 onwards. They have already spent two to three years of their valuable life and any loss in there career will be irreparable & irrecoverable. Some of them have been pursuing their courses by taking educational loans from banks. And they feel extremely disgusted. God forbids occurrences of mass students’ suicide like farmers in past, and that too in the state Andhra Pradesh only.
We therefore pray your Excellency to kindly order for grant of following actions and relief.
1. To get comprehensive investigation of the status and legality of the ICFAI Tech Institute and ICFAI University or this group with regard to recognition of courses run by it, Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate to be awarded by it as also their validity.
2. To save the career and future of the already admitted students in these Institutes in the manner what ever possible and feasible.
3. To ban the further activities of ICFAI Tech in order to prevent the other students from further defrauds of and ruins of their career and future.
4. Any other relief and action which your Excellency may deem fit.

Earlier Satyam does this, now ICFAI Tech is on the same path. Who is going to save the future of 1200 students? We put our hard earned money in it, took loans to secure the future if our children, the students burn midnight oil to fulfill their and their parents' dreams, but what is the outcome...?
HIIIII, iam a student of ICFAITECH JAIPUR. We are facing the same problem which has been earlier mentioned in the forum. Firstly they promised the students that all of them will be migrated to the dehradun but now god knows what is going to happen?
Therefore we all conclude that icfai management has collected a bunch of dirty politicians, who are always ready to saveguard the fraud icfai management. They are always ready to play with the carrier of students.

icfai tech is cheating with every student in India but indian government is not awre to this issue. Why government give permission to icfai run the centre in dehradun and in roorki uttrakhand.

I have gone through whole issues of ICFAITECH STATUS. For registration in higher studies and selection in public sector recognition of B.Tech Degree is must by association o[censored]niversities which is registerd body. As ICFAITECH has not obtained AOU approval till date, future of all students loom in dark.

The only problem is the availability of space as this university has been built in a very small area .
It has undoubtedly one of the best courses in India .
I would like to suggest all the present students to have a respect for their institute .

The ICFAI university is a wonderful university with all the highly qualified faculties . And the student who claims is a fake university are unable to cope up with the course of ICFAI

Hi..it's Aatif, from Icfai Tech Bangalore, now shifted to Icfai Tech Dehradun centre. I give respect to all who really want to know the fact about the IcfaI University management or Icfai Tech branches.As we all know that laughing at others is quite easier than overlooking holes in own coat..I don't disagree with the facts submitted earlier in this forum. It's true that we all Icfai Tech students belong to the Icfai centers running all over in India except Dehradun centre faced critical challenges. Challenges in the sence..

For above genuine reasons we went on strike to be fulfilled our demands and to get the assurity for the recognition of our college by UGC and for the validity of the degre. During strike we came to know that an application has already been intended in the government offices by our college for it's recognition. But due to political and some other reasons it has not been taken into concideration for few years back. So, the Icfai management took a decision and shifted us to the Icfai Tech Dehradun centre, which is recognized by the UGC . This is a huge university situated in Dehradun having a huge campus with all required facilities for it's current students. It's infrastructure is quite well and impressing. Adequte no. of faculties, labs with all required equipments and more.
So, now we are free of all future wories about the recognization and validity of degree...Placement activities are also going on in this campus.
In the end I wish all the best for me as well as for my friends for their bright futures..Thanks.

Sri Nagarjuna Degree College — Cheating college
Iam joined B.Sc Lateral Entry course in 2009 through study center Sri Nagarjuna Degree College, Hyderabad. study center and also iam paid fees 15000/- fees. I got a admission also, at the time examination my subjects(electronics) not matching of course and cancelled my admission said by college. They said your total amount of fees will be returned.
