[Resolved] Idea Cellular Ltd. — wrong charges of sms use

dear sirs,

my mobile number was [protected] of idea cellular ltd. co.

i was charged wrongly of my sms usage, where as i am not aware of sms charges on festive days, by company. they call that they declared holidays , and you will be charged on that day if, you use sms fecility. i was advised taht you wil get 300 sms and 24000 sec. free on plan of monthly rs. 199/- facility.

now my complaint is co's market executive or never co. informed about free facility will be chargeble on this declered holidays.

you are request to take my complaint urgently and punish this company , which breach their commitment given to indian users when they offer new paln to accept.

I already complaint on this site. but still no reply i get. and company charged me on my actual use of bill , and now a days it goes increasingly day by day. so, please do in favour of indian users like me.

Idea Cellular — Wrong Amount charged

Hello sir,
As per my plan (299)
I will get
400 min free (Local call)
200 sms free (Local)
0.30 Rs for local (Idea to idea)
0.50 Rs for Local (mobile) other then idea
0.50 Rs for Local Land line
1.00 Rs for STD any

During Bill Generating they are showing STD nos in Local landlines and charges are 1 rupee . which are wrong, if they are showing nos in local land line then they have to charge as local rate. And SMS charges on 27th oct were 1 rupee but as per plan it should be 0.50 rupee

I want to take some legal action against idea. so please guide me.

Idea — wrong call charge

i have recharged my mobile ([protected]) on 09/07/2009 from Rs 230 . In this plan my call charge should be STD-Rs 1/min. & local my gang Rs 0.20/min. but i have charged Rs 2.75/min. when i talk to customer care they said this plan is not for this number. While i had allready asked for this voucher from customer care on 09/07/2009 at 3:00 pm

Sir,
I had received my monthly bill from 16 Aug to 15 Sep. 2009. In this bill the previous amount taken by you is 326.46. But the actual previous amount is 271.46. The amount of Rs. 326.46 was a after due date amount but I had deposited the bill ( Rs. 275 ) on dated 15 Aug 09. So the previous amount should be 271.46 instead of 326.46. Please do the needful.

Idea Cellular Ltd. — Wrong Calls Charged by the Co.

I am subscriber of Idea Cellular Ltd. (Mobile No. [protected], A/C No. : 1.[protected]. We have received bill for the month of November 2009 for Rs. 2,231/-. (Invoice No.[protected], dated 06/12/2009).

The said invoice was a real shock for us as our previous bills for every month are ranging from Rs. 175 – 250. As the said invoice amount is huge, we scrutinized the itemized bill given by Idea cellular Ltd. and to our surprise we found that there are two calls made on No. 55181. We do not recognize this number hence calling on this number is out of question. From the bill you will find that the amount charged by Idea Cellular Ltd. for this calling is Rs. 1,537.80/-. You will find that the said calls are made on same date and at same time but for 110 minutes. (on 26.11.2009 at 9:34:15 & 9:34:24), which is simply impossible.

This matter was taken up with Idea Cellular Ltd., even to their highest authorities. But no one bothered to even response to this complaint.

I m using Idea Prepaid number, i have wronglly charge for service wich i have never ever activate, after lanching the complaint i gets a call back from backend team and blames me that i have activated, i know all forcefully ativation done by telecom sector, and i know very well how many customers raise issue on this, thise is a good scheme to generate revenu, hope i will get my refund,

Hello I am the customer of Idea Cellular Service Ltd. I had received the message regarding DoT regulation from Idea with a Toll Free No. After calling with that Toll Free No, I recieved a message stating that DEAR SUBSCRIBER U JUST INTERACTED WITH RIYAZ. I[censored] R SATISFIED WITH THE INTERACTION PLEASE TYPE Y, IF NOT TYPE N AND REPLY TOLL FREE TO THIS MESSAGE. (NO TOLL FREE NO MENTIONED IN MESSAGE AND THE MESSAGE RECIEVED FROM THE NO.[protected]) AS ON 01.11.2010 AT 17.59 (5.59P.M). So I make Immediately reply on that No. Though it stated in mesages it is toll free they charge Rs.5/- in next bill for that. So want to know is it Right OR Wrong(Cheating or Fraud)?

I have an IDEA Prepaid Card I am using it from around 9 Years No is [protected] I have applied for first uninor no portability first IDEA have rejected the portability and then i have recharge the AMOUNT RS 125 IN IDEA AS THE NO WAS NOT CONVERTED IN PORTABILITY THEN SUDDENLY I GOT MESSAGES FROM IDEA TO SUBMIT MY DOCUMENTS I HAVE SUBMITTED THE DOCUMENTS THEN THE CARD WAS CLOSED THEY TOLD THAT NOW THE UNINOR HAS ACTIVATED YOUR PORTABILITY NO AND idea PEOPLE HAVE CLOSEN THE CARD WITH NOT REFUNDING THE 100 rS BALANCE.
