[Resolved]  IFB Microwave Oven — Bad Service Provided by IFB

Dear Sir/Ma'm

I purchased a Microwave Oven in the first week of November, 2008 from m/s Sahu Agencies Pvt Ltd. Lucknow. Since last about 20 days the Oven is not working and thus the complaint was lauched through available mobile no. [protected] who guided us to a new mobile no. after waiting for 10 days and the person available on the new no. gave us one more mobile no. of some lady officer whose mobile was put off for hours together.
If this is the service provided by a company like IFB then we our sorry to say that all the claims publisised through Media for selling your product are false. If our product is not replce/rectified with in next two days I will be forced to lauched a complain in Consumer Forum.

SIR, I WISH TO INFORM YOU THAT I HAVE PURCHASED A IFB MICROWAVE OVEN 20 PB VIDE CASH MEMO NO. VAT/0809/1681/21.10.09 FROM CHELLAMANI & CO. 44/01, MTH ROAD, PATTABIRAM, CHENNAI-72 ON 20TH JAN. WHILE COOKING THE RICE BOWL IS MELTED WITH BOTTOM SIDE OF A SLIGHT PART SO AGAIN IN THIS BOWL WE CAN MAKE ANY THING SINCE IT IS METLED WITH AND GETS LEAKAGE PROBLEM. SO NOW WE ARE FACING A LOT OF PROBLEMS IN ABSENCE OF GOOD CONDITION OF BOWL. WE ARE UNABLE TO COOK RICE ETC. WE ARE FACING A LOT OF PROBLEMS SO I PHONED TO MR. RAJESH MENAN, SALES EXECUTIVE OF IFB HE TOLD ME THAT YOU GIVE THE BOWL TO M/S CHELLAMANI & CO. WE WILL SEE AND ECCHANGE AND AFTER FEW DY AGAIN I TALKED TO HIM HE TOLD ME THAT YOU BRING HERE AND WE WILL REPLACE IT AND AGAIN I TELEPHONED HIM HE TOLD ME THAT IT IS NOT POSSIBLE JYOU HAVE TO TALK TO THE MANAGER SO I TALKED TO MR. KAMAL, SALES MANAGER HE TOLD ME THAT YOU GO THE MARKET AND SEARCH A BOWL AND PURCHASED THERE WE DONT HAVE BOWL IN THE STOCK. I PURCHASED IFB MICROWAVE OVEN SET ON 21 OCT ANDJ HIS REPRESENTATIVE CAME AFTER ONE WEEK AND THEREAFTER WE STARTED COOKING AND WITH IN A SHORT DURATION THIS RICE COOKER/BOWL GET MELTED SO IT SHOULD BE REPLACED BY THE IFB CO. BUT THEY ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING IT SHOULD BE REPLACED IT IS UNDER WARRANTY PERIOD AND A GOOD REPUTED CO. LIKE IFB WILL DO LIKE THIS WHO WILL PURCHASE.

SIR, I REQUEST YOU KINDLY TO CONSIDER THIS MATTER AND KINDLY TO ARRANGE FOR REPLACEMENT OF THIS BOWL SO THAT WE CAN START COOKING IN MICROOVEN WE ARE NOT NOW USING OVEN IN ABSENCE OF BOWL. KINDLY ARRANGE TO REPLACE AT THE EARLIEST.

MY FOLLOWING COMPLAINT HAS REMAINED UNATTENDED SINCE LAST 4 MONTHS. THE IFB MICROWAVE MODEL 20SC1 IS NOT WORKING AND THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAD MADE THE FOLLOWING COMPLAINT ON 7.5.2009 AFTER MY EARLIER CALLS REMAIN UNATTENDED. I NEED YOUR QUICK INTERVENTION.
IFB MICROWAVE OVEN MODEL-20SC1 WAS PURCHASED BY ME IN SEPTEMBER 2007 FROM BHOPAL. SUBSEQUENTLY I GOT TRANSFERED TO RAIPUR IN MAY 2008. IN SEPTEMBER 2008 I LODGED A COMPLAINT WITH YOUR CALL CENTRE AND ALSO WITH THE LOCAL IFB SERVICE CENTRE REGARDING MALFUNCTIONING OF THE OVEN. THE CALL WAS ATTENDED AFTER 0NE MONTH IN OCTOBER AND SOME MINOR REPAIR WAS MADE. THE PROBLEM WITH THE OVEN AGAIN RESURFACED IN JANUARY 2009 AND SINCE THEN I HAVE LODGED ALMOST 10 COMPLAINTS TO YOUR LOCAL SERVICE CENTRE AT RAIPUR AND ALSO TO YOUR CALL CENTRE AND THE COMPLAINT STILL REMAINS UNATTENDED. MY COMPLAINT REFERENCE IS 2136927 WHICH I GOT FROM YOUR CALL CENTRE 2 MONTHS BACK. I REGRET YOU ARE SHOWING TOTAL DISRESPECT TO A CUSTOMER CALL AND PROBABLY ARE LEAST CONCERNED ABOUT ATTENDING TO CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS. TODAY AT 3.40 PM I CONTACTED YOUR CALL CENTRE AND TO MY UTTER DISMAY THE CALL WAS DELIBERATELY DISCONNECTED. PRIOR TO THAT THE SERVICE ENGINEER CLEARLY INDICATED THAT HE IS NOT IN A POSITION TO ATTEND TO THE COMPLAINT. THIS IS REALLY A SORRY STATE OF AFFAIRS AT IFB. NOW I AM PLANNING TO SEND BACK MY MACHINE BACK TO YOUR HEAD OFFICE THROUGH COURIER SO THAT YOU CAN KEEP IT IN THE ARCHIVE FOR SHOWING TO YOUR FUTURE CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE POOR QUALITY OF YOUR PRODUCTS AS WELL AS UR USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE.
