Vodafone — Improper enrollment practices | |
Hello, I have recently got a vodafone prepaid connection. In Vodafone services menu, there is a sub-menu with title Missing Call Info (MCI). While trying to know what it is, vodafone automatically sent a message from my mobile for activation request of MCI and I got enrolled in MCI @ monthly rental of Rs. 30 without my will. There were no menu items that would say something like "Enroll" or "Activate". Please note that under the same services menu, they also have other services like "Flash" which has the option to either Activate or deactivate the service. I believe, by designing their menu in such a manner, vodafone is accidentally enrolling many customers and then would not refund their enrollment amount. I ask for a redesign of the vodafone service menu which would clearly indicate to the customer that enrollment is going to be processed; and, if possible, I need a refund of Rs.30 that has been deducted from my balance.
