[Resolved]  Income Tax Department Of India — Refund not received

It is shameful and hypocritical of the Indian IT Department
to run an ad campaign urging citizens to deposit their
Taxes on time, with threats of jail time; while taking
indefinitely long to refund taxes. 4 months after a
"Refund Sequence Number" was generated, I'm yet to see
the money in the bank account. This despite repeated enquiries
and reminders.

I got a communication informing me of the refund. The
communication reference number is CPC/0910/[protected].
The E-Filing Ack No is [protected].

I have not received my income tax refund for the financial year of 2008-09 (Assesment year[protected]. The refund amount is 20000. It is about more than 13 month of filing the return.
