[Resolved]  Indane Gas Agency — AADHAAR CARD NOT LINKED OF HUNDREDS OF CUSTOMERS

Address:Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh

BACKGROUND: One of the most ineffective moves by the Govt to link up Gas consumer # - Aadhar Card # - Bank A/C # is resulting in increasing problems. Every day, I go to the Indane gas agency to check if I am lucky to have my Aadhar # linked from the past 3 months. The only response I get is, "Bank has not linked it, its not our mistake" and vice versa BLAME by the BANK (infact Bank mgr gave in writing that they have finished the formalities from their side). If it were one man's plight that's alright but in my 10 min stay in Indane Gas agency, there were not less than 5-10 customers with the common complaint. "All formalities are done but they don't get their REFUND amount"... ATTRIBUTES to ... I don't know whose fault. SOLUTION: Either 1) the Govt shud have tested the so called faulty software (As per the Indane agency staff), and then should have tried this process on the common public (I pay 1096/- on every cylinder and I get the surplus amount as re-imbursement as per my subsidy limit) (or) 2) Instead of re-imbursing on every cylinder, they could produce a challan of 462/- odd rupees (cost of a subsidized cylinder) until the usage touches 9 cylinders (quota for each household as per Govt mandate) and then, produce a challan of 1096/- (non subsidized amount) per cylinder instead of the current procedure (It is a WIN - WIN --- effort reduced to the Govt and the dependency and uncertainty of the extra amount paid by the common man too is taken care.) Atleast I am a S/W engr with not so bad financial position but I have seen many lower middle income group public who are suffering because of the inefficiency with which it is implemented. Seems like it is one more means for money savvy employees to take advantage of the common public. Definitely there are many others like me out there who do not ACT until the problem is not THEIRS. After thinking about this issue, its very clear that the solution won't be possible without support from many others too thinking on the similar lines. Hope my plight reaches u in a right way and hope someday, an apt solution is the result of this request. NEEDING UR SUPPORT, A COMMON MAN SIGNS OFF!!! Guru

Same here (Aadhar Card :[protected].

Contacting the Customer care, I am informed that the NPCI did a delayed linking for me on Sept 15, 2013 though I had sumbitted all my details to the gas agency and bank in february (And the nbank and gas agency did it immediately in February itself.). Because of delayed linking, I lost my first month subsidy.

And on october 22, 1013, they have again removed my linking by putting me as non subsidized customer and so I lost my second month subsidy. So even after the linking, I am back to square one because of delinking.
i agree with guruprasad sir...
