Non Delivery / Item Loss

I am using speed-post service frequently for the places where courier service is not available.
Item loss / item missing is becoming a regular issue with speed-post.
There is option to raise complaint online, but no use.
If you call customer care, they used to tell some excuse and ask to give a written complaint in the post-office.
After all these, the max they will give is shipping charge.
eg. if you are sending something worth Rs.250/- and the shipping charge is Rs.34, then maximum you will get Rs.34/- after all these lengthy process.
I request higher officials to look into it very seriously and instead of giving the shipping charge back, try to find out the culprit and suspend them.
If you are keeping quite, the loss / missing will increase day by day. I am just one among 100's facing the same issue daily.

Sent from Kalyannagar S.O. on 19th July 2012 and while tracking it is showing only till GUWAHATI on 21st July 2012.

Also raised online complaint ( Complaint Number: 100051-41750 ), but no response for that too.

Again I request higher officials to look into it very seriously and instead of giving the shipping charge back.

I Agree, I also faced similar issue they never pickup the call and reply to your email. WORST SERVICE !!!

I would like to inform you that my CONSIGNMENT NUMBER IS
EF508012499IN.This items has been booked on 01 sep 12 from Kishanganj to Delhi but still this items has not been delevered.
according to online tracking is showing service is very poor and slow.
please try to inprove the service. i am regret to say INDIAN POST DEPARMENT SERVICE IS VERY SLOW & CARELESS I THINK SO.

Dear Sir or Madam
I would like to complain about non delivery of Article Number: EU692808693IN. This speed post has been booked on 25th Aug, 2012. While traking we came to know it moving around all over delhi. It contains documents which are really important, and we are bearing heavy loss due to it. I tried to complain on www.indianpost.gov.in, but complaint form is showing error. So I was unable to register the complain. I tried to complain at new delhi head office, but they refuse to register complain. Hence I humbly request you to look in to the matter, try to resolve any issue regarding non delivery. Please deliver it as soon as possible.

Sir /Madam above is my ems speed post no..I have send tat to Delhi from Mumbai ..online it is showing it is returning back as address is wrong ..sir my Mumbai address is wrong ..n I forget to goregaon west in my address n even dint write postal pin code sir...can u help me whr it has gone..n from whr should I collect ..plz sir it was very urgent sir plz help me with tis..

i had lodged a complaint regarding non delivery of parcel sent to CHINA by INDIA POST VIDE COMPLAINT no.872dt 05.11.2012 and online complaint no.10005214172, but it is regretted that the complaint has been closed on 05.12.2012 without resolving it. the parcel is still not delivered to the addressee. how you have closed the complaint. it means that it is not advisable to lodge the comlaint with india post. so, it will be better to disallow this facility to public insted advise them to take the matter to cosumer court and you will be liable for damages and cost mental torture to consumers
