[Resolved]  Indian Railway — excess fare

i was travelling from kanpur to new delhi my to tickets were confirmed and due to some urgency i have to bring my sister also so after entering the boogie i asked TTE to confirm one ticket if possible before and shown him the First class ticked against which i was requiring the seat but the TTE talked in very rude way, misbehaved and charged just double amount for the ticket i.e. 84 rs as excess fare and 560 rs more for i dont know what as sister was adjusted by me in my berth only is their any rule that i have to pay excess fare and double charges also please confirm. and after some time TTE gave his own seat to some one else after taking 200 rs from him and on my ticked he didnt explain any details but written no room i asked for the reason but he did not gave proper reply can you help me out for the problem i faced financialy and mentally also please suggest me.

I'm holding a valid season ticket.(vts : C09A9LM1RB & ID NO: 5MC596708F which is valid up to[protected].

Today i.e. 13/07/2009 I have travelled in a train n0: 2678. I was in general compartment and most of the seats were empty. I have started my journey from TCR(Trichure) and journey ended at PGT(Palakkad).

The train no.2678/- is a super fast train. As there are no frequent train service between TCR and PGT, I have traveled in the train.

When I get down from the train at PGT, at the gate examiner imposed a Excess Fare Ticket no. 762228. And Tkt/GC held no.[protected].

In reason for he wrote as "With Out Superfast".

Here I was not without a ticket, but was lacking a suplimentary ticket.

The amount 260/- is found any way found very high as fine for travelling with out suplimentary ticket. This amount is equal to my one month season ticket.

I could have been said any lie to this gentleman, but what I felt that he exploited my honesty.

Still I felt that the amount he imposed is high in such a route were a very few train are running.

I can show you video tapes that what is happening in Kerala Express after Gawlior.

I travelled from chennai central to new delhi in tamil nadu exp dt; 18.09.2009. That time i misplaced my ticket and i have ticket copy(xerox). but the ttr didn't agree with ticket copy and he charged excess fare ticket Rs. 1429/-

pls note the excess fare ticket no: E764589

This is my company meeting tour. now i want to pay the money to my company. I have the ticket copy and excess fare ticket chellan. so pls advise to how to claim the the money.

I have booked reservation ticket for to & fro Raipur to Howrah. When I check the fare in the internet I found the fare is Rs. 323/- from Raipur to Howrah. But when I purchased the ticket from reservation counter, the ticket clerk charged Rs.333/- per head from Raipur to Howrah and vice versa. As such I incurred an amount of Rs.40/- on each ticket. Please refer PNR No.[protected] &[protected]. I asked to ticket counter clerk for this extra ticketing charge. Please explain for the excess charging in the fare.

NE Railway — Excess amount taking by Clerk on ticket purchasing

I have purchase a ticket No. 06692 for travel by Train Lucknow-Barauni Exp. from Gomtinagar to Mankapur jn on 10.04.2011 Rs. 43.00 charged by booking clerk but actual rate of fare Rs. 40.00 only. But I talk with booking clerk but not refund extra money. Pl take n/a action and inform to me.
