[Resolved] Indian Railway — IMPROPER INFORMATION | |||
I had booked railway e-ticket from mathura jn to kotkapura jn ( pnr [protected] ) for journey on 21.03.11. it was a WL ticket and after chart preparation it showed an RAC status through internet. Now the problems are- 1. Train running status is showing that it is cancelled.When train is cancelled why it was not shown in reservation status. 2.I went to Mathura railway station at 18.45 where i got the information that train is coming two hrs late. 3. I went to the inquiry staff that why the net is showing the train cancelled whereas the railway station is giving the information as train being two hrs late and not cancelled.He asked me to go to res inquiry counter and the staff at res inquiry counter asked me to go back to inquiry counter.Some other passenger told me that the train will probably terminate at New Delhi. 4. the station display was showing that the train is going upto firozpur and there was no information that upto which station train is going. Finally I cancelled my ticket as no proper information was available either from Mathura railway station or through railway website imdianrailway.gov.in.
