Dear Sir,
We are facing the problem due to not accept my cheque of Corporation Bank ,Branch Gariharsuru, Gurgaon,.
When we are going to deposit my electricity bill in Laxmi Market Gurgaon, Clerk not accept the cheque ,reason being (Check the code ) because this bank code is not in his list, last time they accept it by manually, this time they refused and say manually system is now closed.
So you are request to please take the necessary action in this regards

Sena Medal for Gallantry is awarded to those soldiers because the quota for the annual Charka series has been exhuasted!! While reading the citations for the Sena Medal (Gallantry) one feels that the awardee should have been decorated with the Shaurya Chakra! They must be given the rail complimentary passes like the Chakra series.

I would also like to point out the fact that free pass for SHOURYA CHAKRA does not permit the recipient to travel in Statabdi, Jan Shatabdi and Rajdhani trains where as its equivalent award in war Vir Chakra awardees are permitted to travel by these trains which is not fair as the degree of risking ones life is same or more in this case. There is no dilution of professional competence while fighting the terrorists viz a viz an enmy in the war. If difference is for free food then the awardee can be charged for that. Also Jan Shatabdi is a normal train without free food then why it is not allowed.

The Sena Medal Awardees must be honoured by railways as it does to other Gallantry award winners, including Police. The railways will certainly not run into losses by showing more magnanimity by recognising SENA MEDAL (GALLANTRY) and free travel facility.

I am myself a recipient of Vayu sena medal gallantry for flying the helicopter over nariman house during mumbai terrorist attacks risking my own life but i am not being given the complimentary card passes in railways as given to PPMG and PMG whereas these awards stand lower in the order of precedence of awards. I fully agree and demand to the Hon.Railway Minister to extend the same benefits to Sena medal gallantry/ vayu sena medal gallantry/ nao sena medal gallantry too.

I failed to understand the attitude of railway ministry on following points-

1. A Police personnel who does heroics in one of the incidents, is given PPMG/PMG

2. A police personnel who extends meritorious service throughout the year, is given IPM/PPM for distinguished services.

Surprisingly, Indian Railway is recognising Police personnel who excelled in one incident and at the same time ignoring those who are rendering meritorious services throughout the year...

Complimentry Card passes are welcome. Facility for on-line reservation with these passes may please be considered. If such a facility exists please advice.

soldiers winning gallantry medals/chakras are serving in hostile areas and it is very difficult for them to get the tickets against the complimentary passes issued to them. i am recipient of two gallantry medals but i am not in a position to reap benefits out of the complimentary pass issued to them. online reservation aginst these passes will enable the gallant soldiers to get benefits otherwise he will have to travel like a normal passenger who is travelling on an un reserved ticket.my appeal to railway authorities to kindly look into the matter if they really want to honour the battle heroes.

It is disheartening to bring out that Sena medal (gallantry) awardees are deprived of getting Railway pass where as PGM awardees are given the same. A soldier who shows utmost courage utter disregard to his life, is not recognised. It is high time now to rethink over this issue and concrete policy to be chalked out and provision to be made in coming Rail way budget to issue complimentary pass to sena medal awardees (gallanry ) of defence forces. This will ultimately foster faith in transparent system. Discrimination not only brings out unrest but also acrimony in people. Let justice be prevailed.

as per message of aditya it says that this discrimination will be eliminitated. has rail ministry accepted to issue pass to sena medal awardees. if so can we have the orders.

Respected Sir, RailWay Board's As per your office letter no.E(W)2009/PS 5-10/2 dated 22.07.2013(RBE No.71/2013) Sub - Issue of one 1stClass/2nd AC complimentry Cheque Pass once in a year to recipient of President Police Medal for Gallantry (PPMG)and Police Medal for Gallantry(PMG)valid for travel Rajdhani/Shatabdi trains.But cheque pass issuence authority cheque pass issued only for one month valid time, But, how can we reserve our ticket in Rajdhani/Shatabdi trains ? As known the train ticket reservation time is under two month only, (now four month). Sir, I request you kindly reply as your above Intimatted subjects, How can we reserve our ticket, please.
