[Resolved]  Indian Railways — First class passengers harrassed by pass holders in flying ranee express

Address:Surat, Gujarat

Dear Sir/Mam,
The First class passengers of the 2922 flying ranee super fast express between surat to mumbai central are facing tough times specially between valsad to vapi and then dhanu to borivali as the daily pass holders are allowed to enter the bogie.
The passholders occupy the births of the passengers and harras the reservation ticket holders.
Moreover the single birth is divided into three seats and charges are even higher then the aircondioned seat for the seating arrangement me and my fellow passengers with the pnr number series starting from 83492207** were harrased as they also try to adjust our luggage for their illegal journey. please take the strict action on this as the consumer are really suffering after paying high ticket charges for the comfort and does not get the same instead they are left with insecurity.

I had a totally different experience, the passholders infact helped me to alight from the train as i was carrying huge luggage and they request you to grant them a seat, whcih can be given as there is ample place to accomodate a fourth guy besides 3 seating.Give respect and get respect
I know this is an old complaint but let me inform you about the rules as far as I know. The Flying Ranee is NOT an overnight train. When you book tickets in the FC 1 coach, you are allotted only the seats and not the berths. Also, there are three seats and only two berths! Reserved ticket holders have full rights to complain if these pass holders occupy their reserved seats. But asking them to vacate the whole cabin is unwarranted. The Flying Ranee only has a single FC coach and it is a crowded commutter train. Pass holders also pay a hefty montly charge to travel in this train.reserved ticket holders behave as of they own the entire cabin and waste precious space where at least 6 extra passengers can comfortably sit. Imagine a huge cabin filled with just six people when it can easily accomodate 6 more? Is that practical in India? These people then stand in the narrow corridor even though they pay three or four times more than second class pass holders. Please think about tehse pass holders too. This is basic humanity.

Oh and to answer your question, passholders are allowed in the FC coach if they have a mail express first class pass and their journey is not illegal. I agree that there are some rude pass holders juslt like there are rude reserved ticket holders. My advice to both of them would be :

Give respect. Take respect.
I would like share my experience,
I was travelling on a regular ticket, and it was general compartment, there were many seats empty but they did not allowed to sit, these pass holder are so rude and dumb . They start arguing and if you continue they will start fight . these @SS#0le pass holder keep quite when they are in mumbai just when they are in train heading home or coming to mumbai that is the only place they can show their dominance .
Pass holders are not allowing to seat general ticket passengers even seats are vacant in General Compartment. This is not just happening in one train. I have faced this problem plenty of times while travelling between Mumbai to Vadodara. Pass holders are bullying and harassing to general passengers on daily basis in General Compartment.
