I had purchased online in March 2010 a 1GB gaming device with MP3/MP4, camera and fm radio which was advertised at Rs 3040/- my order number was[protected]. On receiving the gadget I saw that the value was put as Rs 800/- only. On opening it was found that it was some cheap device which did not have the fm radio and probably other advertised features also. I registered a complaint and demanded a refund of money which was promised to me in another 3 or 4 days. But instead of returning the money Indiatimes sent me the same device back. Again I submitted the complaint and the gadget was picked up for refund but again the same thing was repeated. This went on for another time and after that I got a message that I would not be given my refund without giving any reasons. So Indiatimes have neither given me the gadget nor the refund which they promised so many times. It has been about an year now.
If such reputed online agencies like Indiatimes go about cheating people what would the so many others would be doing? Please get me my refund back and punish Indiatimes. Pls also suggest me any other avenue of redressal.
Sincerely
