[Resolved] Infibeam — Very Bad Service | |
I had ordered a Karbon A9 mobile on the infibeam portal via purchase ID 9156801 ( sub order ID:[protected] on August 4th, 2012 for Rs.8950 and was literally taken for ride as i am yet to get the mobile. 1/ The ordered mobile reached me on mid of August 2/ The mobile had a problem and a Complaint #39272 was registered 3/ Infibeam didnt call me after that and the only thing i received was an automated email 4/ After long wait in telephonic queue i was able to talk to an Infibean agent, who asked me to take the mobile to the nearby Karbonn centers and get the OS upgraded. ( I dont understand the fact, why should i be doing it myself, when it is part of their job ) 5/ Tried reaching the numbers given by Infibeam to talk to the local karbon centers, but in vain. Finally, i was able to get hold of a number and i was told that they cannot do it 6/ I never received a call during this period from Infibeam at all !!! 7/ I called up Infibeam again and asked them to take the product back. 8/ Infibeam agreed and informed me to pack it and keep it ready as per their norms. 9/ The product was kept ready and no one came to pick it up 10/ "I called back infibeam" again and i was told that the courier agent cant pick it up because the area is remote. I was not told this earlier when i made the call. 11/ Finally after continuous effort for over 10 days, i was able to get a courier person to come and collect it 12/ The product reached infibeam office in delhi, but i was not called 13/ I called up again, to check the status of the returned product. I was told by Deepika that the product has been sent to Karbon center for repair. 14/ I told Deepika that, i would like to have a fresh piece of Karbon mobile and not a repaired one. I asked Deepika to put me across to the Lead and requested him to get me a fresh piece. The Lead told me all the Karbon A9 mobiles lying in infibeam are outdated and even if they send across a fresh piece, it will have problem. 15/ Finally, i asked for a refund and i was told by Sailesh that the amount will be refunded on Monday September 25, 2012 16/ The amount was not refunded, instead i got another email from Ravi stating as per rules of Infibeam, the amount will not be reimbursed and we may get store credits. If i dont respond within 48 hours, it will be assumed that the Compliant is closed !!! 17/ I have been running behind infibeam literally for past one month for getting things done, and here i recieve an email from infibeam stating the case will be closed, if i dont respond in 48hours !!! 18/ I would have spent close to Rs.1000 to Rs.1500 just making calls to them. Infact, i was travelling and most of the calls would have been under roaming charges 19/ I had to finally budge asking them to send another product I never ever had such a bad experience in any of the online stores. This is one of the worst experience . None of the people had the courtesy to follow-up, nor update me as to what is the progress of the issue. I would recommend no one to purchase any product from Infibeam anymore and i am campaigning against it !!! Was this information helpful? | |
