[Resolved]  infinity global — dead set delivered

After seeing advertisement on the website 'Deals and you' i had ordered a phone HTC Dash by order number 454528. The phone was sent to me by invoice number 25286 on 15th march,2012 by infinity global inc. (hyderabad) and i paid the cash on delivery. But it was surprising to me that the phone did not work right from the day 1. It shuts down automatically within a few minutes, even after charging it completely. I tried contacting on the number [protected] as written on your invoice for repair or replacement but nobody picked the call. Even after so many emails written to your customer care email address [protected]@infiglobal.com i did not receive a reply for more than a month. After finally breaking my patience levels, i wrote another email informing about filing a complaint in the consumer court, wen i finally got a reply. Miss Vanita Kharat asked me to send the phone back to infinity global inc. at their mumbai address for repair and was received by them on 8th may,2012. I received an email stating that it will be returned to me within two days but was not even dispatched till the 17th may,2012. To add to my woes, it was even in a poorer condition wen i received it back.
I also contacted the local HTC service centre in my city and even they refused to repair it and said it was not a legally imported set by HTC India and that it was a second hand set imported from other country. All these things were not mentioned by you in the advertisement on your website ' deals and you' which is illegal under MRTP Act in India.
By now i have sent back the phone to the company twice. This is the third time they have sent back the phone to me and still in bad condition. It has lots of scratches and wax on it. I fail to understand that why is the battery or the product never in sealed state. It looks like a used phone.

Its been three times now and is not less than any harrassment.
