Well dear juniors and friends hope you have done well in the 12th standard exams the results have come, and all of you might be looking for a good college to do your higher education. This is a reviw of a college named "JAYA ENGINEERING COLLEGE" In Tiruninravur-Chennai-602024. First off all if you have plans to Engineering please dont opt for Jaya engineeing college that too EEE, ECE, Mech, CSE these departments really suckz in Jaya, the worst department in jaya engineering college is CSE dept its my personal experience, out there since I completed my CSE there! reason is that no good faculties, no lab infrastructure, no air conditioners in labs not even a fan.., no internal marks, nothing just an hype, and faculties are just there to while away their time and none of the faculties are friendly to the students, they just want to show hatred to the students. so in my personal experience never have an option to go for Jaya Engineering college. The college never conducts functions in their own money. The beg the students for money, and they threaten the students that they wont allow to take up the university exams if they wont pay the money to conduct the functions. This is the most common practice particularly in CSE and IT departments. The the most important thing of all NO PLACEMENTS AT ALL. IN MY SET NOT EVEN A SINGLE COMPANY CAME FOR PLACEMENTS. If you see in the college website, they might have listed some 100's of students got placed but they might not have described the year in which the companies came, those student have got placed around 4 or 5 years back, but for the past 3 years there is not placements, and the college is concentrating only for getting recognition as a deemed university, and not bothering about the student's future. SO JAYA ENGG COLLEGE REALLY SUCKZ. I made the mistake of joining the college which I would request my juniors not to do the same. and one more thing ther is no privacy for students in Jaya Engineering college, every classroom, corridors, labs are installed with CCTV cameras, which makes the students like prisoners in the Jail. IF YOU WANT TO BE A SLAVE FOR FOUR YEARS JOIN "JAYA ENGINEERING COLLEGE". Was this information helpful? | |||

Jaipur Engg College — Don't ever join this college
Hi Everyone...I[censored] are thinking to get admission in Jaipur Engineering college, kukas than again think on your decision.They will suck everything from u money, time.On the prospectus they show that big companies visit their college for placemets but it is not true at all.In 2008 only 45 were placed out of 420..Arya college is far better than JEC.In JEC director concentrate on buildings not on future os students...So beware of JEC!!!

Yeah.. I too agree with that also to be add no staff here will be educated. Also worst thing is placement seriously fk'g I think if some company hr may visit tat college rest room so oly no placement for past 3 years.

Ya i too agree whatever ma friends told all of that information s true...lot of friends suffered atmost because of joined in this college...no placement...not proper mess...no seats n bus...low internal marks...totally "Jaya Engineering College" s "jail"...so juniors think of all these n select good college for your bright future...

correct... the main thing that makes the department worst is the presence of a gang of some staffs... especially, until staffs like bharathi mohan is there, the department will never improve.. his co-ordinator rule was like imsai arasan vadivelu's period... comedy rules and comedy kingdom :D :P :P
You guys are rite...A college can be graded as a good college only upon the companies that are brought oncampus. From 2007 till 2010, no good companies visited our college.and it has almost ruined the career of many students. Thanks to those companies that conducted offcampuses, only because of which many o[censored]s from 2010 B.E/B.tech batch have got placed in top MNCs like Cognizant, TCS, Wipro etc.Unless otherwise our future would have become a big question mark.I still dont know as how many friends from my batch are still on job hunting. Initiatives have to be taken by the management to make sure the college environment is maintained clean and neat.A good rpport has to be established between students and staffs. As said by one of my friends we were treated as slaves and were threatened in terms of internal marks.And we are yet to recieve our degree certificates through convocation..This is sick..
Also staffs threatening students is a common practise there. We from our department have also suffered fom the same and were scared till we got our university results. I would say coaching is good. A student can study well and come out with good academic credentials. But that alone is not enough for a student's bright career. Arrangements could have been made for proper placement trainings. It should be imparted once the students hit their final years. Coz to qualify for an MNC job, marks alone would not help much, though it does to some extent. They should be trained on grounds like communication, aptitude problem solving etc.which has become a basic criteria to get placed in a good company.Well thats about it..

More people from different big companies know our college also here people degrade more about CSE dept. I don't think that is true since I passed out successfully. So whoever it may be please post these kinda messages within college suggestion. Also don't misuse the name if you got guts post in your name.. not on the fake one or others name.

I am roaming more than 5 times for getting my transfer certificate to college ...the management and administration is worst.our TC certificates are mistyped all information..they won't give bonafide immediately...its worst college...
