[Resolved] Kenstar Air Cooler — Defective Material | |||
My one and half year old KENSTAR air cooler stopped working and I approached the dealer for service/repair, but the dealer told me that they will not attend complaint and asked me to contact customer care. First reason for avoiding branded cooler. On 11/04/12 I made a complaint and on 13/04/12 at about 4 pm one person introduced him as service Engineer from Kenstar and I shown him the cooler. He tried some time but could not opened the cooler without my help (service engineer). He just looked the cooler and told me that the motor is jam and I has replace it with a new one which cost me Rs.1600/-. I object the same and asked him to check the motor but he told me to contact him when I am ready to cough up Rs.1600/- and he will attend the problem and given me a receipt of Rs. 180/- towards Service Charge (charge without any service). Now I understand why people prefer ordinary cooler against branded one. Now My aim is to spare my bad experience as much as consumers . My Complaint No. AHM[protected] Service Charge Receipt no.
