Complaint on Service of Kenstar Air cooler - Model No. CL-CD-2008, Manufacture in Mar 2010. Serial No.[protected] I had purchased the above air coller in May 2010, the product was hardly used for 2 months, it was cleaned and packed, this summer when I tried to use the product again in Mar10, the product was not working. I placed a complaint on 10Mar11(No. HYD[protected])for service under warranty, however the service engineer said that the fan motor is spoilt and needs to be replaced, he refused to do it under warranty as I could not find either the warrenty card or the bill. I raised a complaint (HYD[protected]) with the company in regard to the loss of the waranty card and they said that they will resend the service engineer, but the engineer again refused to replace the fan motor with out the bill. I spoke to the service manager Mr. Bharat on [protected], who also insisted that the bill / warranty card is mandatory. I would like to ask that in this age of paperless statement for eco-friendly resons, why does your company still insist on paper bills and warrenty cards when the sticker behind the product clearly states the Manufaturing date as Mar 10. Will the product be dispatched and sold to the cusotmer in the same month? Will the customer be declined of serivce and warranty if the paper is lost, inspite of the details mentioned on the product with serial no? what if one of customers lose the warrenty card does the company lose interest in such cusotmer is values your brand so much that he uses only the same brands kitchen appliances such as Microwaver, Food Processor, Toaster, Rice Cooker, Hand Blender, Iron, Water Heater. Now I regret why I'v purchased the above products from one brand? why did i put all my eggs in the same basket? I need a reply on the above. If the company values customer service.
