I bought Kenstar Slimline water cooler on March 14'th 2009 to beat the heat of this summer. The water pump of the cooler stopped working on 14'th April. I immediately lodged a complaint with the customer care. I was promised that the complaint will be addressed in 24 hours. It took them 3-4 days to send the service engineer to my home who examined the cooler and confirmed that the water pump needs to be replaced. Since the cooler is just 1 month old and is under the warranty, I thought it should be very straight forward.
But nothing happened for several days. I called up the customer service repeatedly and was assured that the pump will be replaced "as soon as possible". But when nothing happened for 3 weeks, I got frustrated and threatened to go to the consumer court. But alas, these guys are too dumb and shameless and now my dealer tells me that the company is unwilling to replace the faulty part because I threaten them. I have tried all means and now seeking help from National Consumer Helpline. I warn everybody to stay away from KENSTAR. Their customer support and A.S.S is really pathetic. Kenstar Water Cooler — Faulty water cooler is sold to me
Dear Sir,I bought a Kenstar water cooler from Next Retail Mall in Bangalore on 11th April 2010. Just wafter purchasing when I opened the back cover for the first time for cleaning we realized that the pump used for pumping the water does not work. I have lodged a complaint with the Kenstar service center [protected] on 15th May for which they said they will send someone to attend it within 24 hours. It is 30th May and no body has come to attend the complaint. The complaint number is BAN-[protected]. Can you please help.
