[Resolved]  Kingfisher Airlines — Providing low cost airlines against higher class fare

This was our first time, we all had preferred your KINGFISHER AIRLINES to travel from Jammu to Pune on 14th May 2009.
> My PNR no = OEWVWH & Flight nos = IT655 & IT152

> And so i had booked in April, total 12 tickets for all my family members directly from your Goa office.We had paid approx Rs.60, 000 for this travel thru your regular Kingfisher airlines flight which included Jain lunches for us as commited on! our e-ticket.Firstly due to delay in your flight, we had to wait for 2 hours at Jammu airport. Instead of 12, the flight departed at 2 pm.
> Secondly we were shocked to hear from your officials that our flight has been downgraded to Kingfisher Red due to internal cost cutting & we had no choice to travel from Jammu to Delhi via flight no.IT655 & Delhi to Pune flight no.IT152 thru Kingfisher RED flight which has lesser fare & no meals.
> Lastly we were given LIGHT SNACKS instead of VEG / JAIN LUNCH which was commited as per our e-ticket & we had to suffer as we had started our journey early morning from Jammu & reached Pune late @ evening 7 pm.

> As assured at that time by your airport officials & Pune callcentre executive Cheryl Sharma on 14th May, we would get the refund of difference fare within 7 days.After reaching Pune, the same was re-confirmed by Pune callcentre manager Meghna. The same is also recorded in your callcentre system.

> So pls update urgently the status & refund us the diffe rence amount otherwise we will feel as cheated.

Dear Sir pehredar

I have booked three ticket for Kinfisher Class for myself, my wife and my son on 01.10.2008 from Delhi to Lucknow using makemytrip.com. I have paid the money as per the rates of Kingfisher Class (Economy Class, not a low cost airlines).
Just two day before the departure I have been informed by Kingfisher that the scheduled flight has been cancelled and there is one more flight which will be departing nearly one hand a half hour early on the same day, and asked if I am ready, he can book my ticket on that flight. I asked about the difference between both the flight, if any. I have been told that there is no difference between them except the schedule of departure.
I accepted the proposal. When I reached the Aircraft at Airport I got to know that it is a simplified Deccan aircraft flying as Kingfisher RED ( A low cost airlines).Then it was a disappointment to me that I have paid for higher Class of travelling and I have been offered a low cost airlines.
After completing my journey at Lucknow Airport I made a complaint then I was told to contact [protected]@flykingfisher.com and lodge the complaint. I did the same and requested the refund of fare difference between the one I have booked(Kingfisher Class)and the one I have travelled (Kingfisher RED, a low cost airlines).
Initially they have talked me on phone and responded that they are looking into the matter. However, lastly they replied the regret for refund of the difference.
To the best of my knowledge I Know that If I have traveled in a lower class for which fare is less I cannot be charged a fare of higher class.
I am enclosing the details of the mails received from Kingfisher as well as ticket details also. It is my Earnest request that kindly help me for getting me the difference of fare between Kingfisher RED and Kingfisher RED as on the date of journey.

I was informed by my bank that my credit card number was stolen and used with out my authorization to make a purchase with your airline. The purchase was made on 1/16/09 and the money was withdrawn
from my account on 1/19/09. The purchase was for $135.62. I would appriciate it if someone
with your airline will please contact me so we can resolve this matter so I can find out who stole
my credit card and get my money back. When I am contacted I will give further information such as

Kingfisher — cheap airline

Dear Sir,

I am writing this email after very much disappointed with your airline service.

I had reservation from Indore to Delhi on 22-June-2009 by KINGFISHER AIRLINE Depart at 20:10 and Arrive Delhi at 21:50. It reach Delhi late by 3 hour at around 23:40 and by the time I collect the bag and reach the International airport I got late by 10 minute by gate closing time for Air India flight to Frankfurt- New York at 1:10 and missed the flight.

Even though I mentioned at Indore Airport and inside the Aircraft about getting late for International flight at Delhi but nothing was done.

Once I reached the Delhi Domestic terminal I mentioned about my problem to your staff about getting late in connection and need some personal help to expedite the baggage claim and transportation to international airport. I was told that your airline have counter in International airport and would help me in case I missed the flight.

I took the private taxi to reach the Air India counter on International airport and gate was close by 10 minutes (24:10). So I asked Air India counter supervisor to re-booking the flight with other airline and they told me to contact Kingfisher for the same because this delay was caused by Kingfisher airline and not by Air India.

I approached to Information desk and they contact to Kingfisher staff at departure terminal but no one willing to talk on phone or come personally to help me. They also tried to contact the domestic airport Kingfisher supervisor for the same but no help was given.

I had no option then buying another one way ticket with different airline for Rs. 33927 (EITHAD Airline) EY211/EY101 to New York.

If I would have given some help from Kingfisher Staff to resolve the issue with Air India staff about paying penalty and difference in fare for rebooking the flight on next day would saved me lot's of money.

Your staff should always try and find me the next available flight. And it's a shame that your staffs weren't able to re-protect me onto any other flight. Its look like your staff is not trained to be as helpful and friendly as possible. I would expect some one from your staff to make judgment call to resolve this matter on spot.

I would expect from your airline to reimburse me Rs33927 for the amount I paid due to late in arrival of your airline at Delhi Domestic airport.

I am also sending you copy of ticket details.
