Kingfisher Airlines — No refund even after 3 Months

I had booked three tickets on Airdeccan for my family to fly from shimla to delhi for Rs.20247 on the 18/07/2008. The flight was cancelled by the airlines and they advised they would refund the full amount within 7 Days.The Reference.No. given to me for the refund was189210. From 18/07/2008 till date(14-Oct-2008), i still havent got back the refund yet. Whenever i approach them they only keep giving me new dates but not the refund. I have aslo written mails to the higher authorities inclduing Vijay Mallya but to no resolution till date. Can anyone advise me on the procedure for filling a case against them?

My dear I am totally agree with you and I too waiting for justice. Since 4 months too I am waiting for your refund amount. My instance is written below:

I had cancelled my ticket on 10.07.08 whose PNR No. 8060262 for flight No. DN-877 from Chennai to New Delhi. I was issued the refund reference no. 178718 for my refund amount Rs.4525 but till date I haven't received my refund. I had followup as mentioned below

It seems that you are harass me financially and mentally. Hence you are requested to
refund my amount alongwith the interest within 7 days else the delay will force me to take up the matter to the appropriate authorities and this email will be treated as the primary information letter to you.

I am planning to file a case in cosumer court against them. I will suggest you to do the same rest is your choice. By the way I too had written to Mr.Vijaya Mallya but as usual no response. I think you would have understood how they are...
I totally agree. I canceled a ticket the first week of Aug-2008 and the refund has NOT happened till today. I have made so many calls on the same and now I can predict their answer "Sorry sir - there was some system upgrade issue - your money would be credited in 3 to 4 working day"!!!. Alas - I lost the count on how many 3 to 4 working days replies I heard. But surely I will think thrice before I book another ticket.
I share exacly the same experience with all of you guys.

My refund case no is 194296 and it was lodged way back in August, 2008... precisely on 30th August.

I must have called hem 40 times... but every time either i was put on hold for more than 15 minuts...or I was given a timeline or 4/5 days. But that 4/5 days never came.

Now they have started doing something else. They will ask you to call a certain bangalore no to get the details as according to them all the refunds are done from Bangalore. As it is my money is blocked... and am sure that i will never get it back ... on top of that it dosent make sense to waste money on STD calls.

Well the money i will be losing will not be much ... but really want to teach them a lesson...

Is here anyway we can do something jointly???

I am actually very keen to start a negative campaign aginst these buggers and dilute their brand image...

lets do something... dont hesitate to mail me if you have any suggestions etc ...

Fully agree as in my below case they have failed to give service and have not given full refund of fare inspite of follow-up theu phone & emails...

charged to carry their luggage in domestic Kingfisher Flight as permited by International carrier on an ongoing connecting flight. i spoke to Kingfisher staff and guest care but no refund in this case so far.
call center no.s par jab bhi call karo ' the no. you have call is to be seem a wrong no. ' aur ya hamesha milega he nahi, king fisher airlines
These people are frauds. We must make a resolution not to book tickets with Kingfisher airlines again
