Arbitration Notice

I am SUKHENDRA CHANDRA BHOWAL from Kolkata and I have some unpaid dues on my Kotak Credit Card no.[protected]

I received a notice from an advocate from Mumbai on behalf of Kotak Credit Cards, asking to pay entire dues. After that, 09.04.11 another letter is received from the same advocate, addressed to another advocate in Mumbai with subject "Appointment of Arbitrator Under Section 11 of Arbitration & Conciliation Act-1996, appointing him as the 'Arbitrator to adjudicate upon the claims'
My arbitration date is 27th April,2011 in Mumbai.

Now tell me what should I do?
Kindly evaluate and advise how to deal with the above Arbitration Notice Issue and what it can result into.

Hi Team,

I have only 1 emi due on my personal loan account. I have informed my relationship manager and the team to take the payments and clear everything by tomorrow wrt to dues as of date. Now this lawyer named mr.ganeshan has sent a notice twice asking me to appear in chennai court and without any background information to it. I have informed the same to local bangalore team and my relationship manager but he is unaware of the same.

Next date proposed by this lawyer is 16th march, I am on the verge of closing the loan account in 2 months time and i have already initiated talks on the same lines. This notice just creates alot of hassle for me and my guarantor. I would humbly request a way out since i am going to pay them tomorrow amount due as of tomorrow.

It emphasis on in person meeting which doesnt make sense if i make my duly payments.
