[Resolved]  Kpn Travels — KPN Travels is nothing but a nightmare / Hell

I travelled on KPN travels from Theni to Bangalore on 22.08.2012. I reserved 2 upper berths for me and my wife. We travelled along with our 2.5 years son. Once we settled at our Sleeper berths we found the berths are wet in many places. We just ignored it. After some time we found water is coming in enmasse in different intervels from various AC openings. Water dropping on our faces, body, some times water pouring enmasse on our feets. Horrible. I paid for 2 seats Rs.1440. With one infant son how horrible is it please imagine. I complained to driver. He said he will switch off the AC once Dindigul comes. But the same ordeal continued again. As all seats are filled I cant go for changing the seat also. But the way the driver asked’the U9 and U10 seats know’ it became obvious the staff already know this wetting problem, so they ignored and keep on cheating innocent travelers of their money. Finally full night my wife and me sat on the berth and put our son our lap and kept switching between non wet spots. Please dont ever book in KPN upper berths with your hard earned money. Once back to bangalore I am keep trying their feedback mobile no, no body picking the call. Now me and my wife both are suffering with severe cold (sick).

Another incident also happened on the same day when we started our KPN Bus journey. I booked my ticket from a remote village near Theni through my smart phone. So I need to take the print once i reach Theni. Unlike other travels, KPN doesnt accept mtickets. So I thought of taking it in KPN Travels office. Once I reached Theni, when I called KPN office to ask where it is located, they told me to go and wait opposite to krishna theatre, so that their bus onway will pick up me from there. I went there. In that area I searched for any internet cafe or DTP works. Nothing there nearby that krishna theatre. Once the bus came, the driver refuses to accept my mticket and forced me to submit the printout. I asked for few minutes time. The driver told me he will start once all passengers from that stop boarded. By that time all boarded. I requested for alternative. The driver told me to deposit the money equal to my tickets and take it back before next day 11 am by submitting the printed ticket. I am supposed to go to office by 8 am. Anyway I am ready for that since no other alternative. But when i asked whether any kind of receipt will be provided for that money, Driver refused. I dont know what to do. But I accepted all these since I felt guilty I didnt arrange the printed ticket in advance. Luckily I got an idea suddenly and told the driver I arrange the printout in the next stopping wherever KPN travels located. He agreed for that since next stop was Vathlagundu KPN Travels office. So until Vathlagundu comes me and my wife didnt go to upper berth. Anyway I accepted It was my fault. But once we went to upper berths the above said ordeal/ the sad journey started.
