This is one of the most poorly managed and manipulative builder in PUNE City and is spreading wings across the country making claims of being a reputed builder.

Mr. Lalit Kumar Jain who runs the organization is also President of Promoters & Builders Association of Poona.

The company claims to be people oriented and reputed but is nothing short of cheating - Kumar Builders goes by their Reputation and is happy to charge a premium of 20 % over other builders .

Delayed Projects, Excuses for Delays, High Price, False Promises are all part of the game plan.

While Projects in Pune - Like Beune Vista, Kumar Shantiniketan and projects in Bangalore like I-Life have been delayed with no commitment on completion dates. Mr. Jain is busy in his glamorous life while residents have to fight to make rental payments, EMI and have seen delays of over one year from agreement dates.

Don rely on the complaint board. Call Kumar builders on any of their projects and ask them for completion dates. if they tell you Dec 2009 on the phone. Ask them if this will be the date in the agreemetn and do n0t be surprised if they say no the agreement date will be 2011 -

I was told that they have started the construction for phase II and have started asking for escalation...is it true??

Regarding Kumar Shantinikatan II you had mentioned that you have booked the flat.Are you still holding the booking???

Understand Kumar has started this project with new plans and are asking escalation even from the customers who had booked way back in 2010 and even registered agreements for this project.

Is it fair ???
Why should customers pay extra for no fault of theirs???

If KUL has delayed the project after taking the bookings and registering the agreements then Its entirely their responsibility to complete the project in time without asking price rise in between.

Can KUL' s representative respond on this and expected date of completion for the project??

If they claim to be under Chairmanship of Mr.Lalit Jain, who advocates transparency in deals, they should resolve such impression quickly.

Kumar builder lost all the trust and ethics in Business. I am one of the buyer in Shantiniketan phase 2 and these guys are giving extreme trouble to all the buyers. Delayed project, price escalation and termination threats. Dont buy any flat for KUL even they offer lower prices, you end of waiting and paying higher escaltion price.
Please consult with any resident of KUL scheme before you buy...
I had purchased in Shantiniketan Phase 2 and had not got it registered. Now Kumar builder is asking for escalation charges that is double of those that got the property registered. They have lost all ethics and even in cheating they are using double standards. What options do I have to deal with this situation. Regards

Everything they are just irresponsible and unaccountable.

For the last 5 years starting March 2009, I had lodged a request for Kumar Builders to fix the water leaks in a Master Bedroom. I wrote to them August 2012, and August 2013 and again today 5th August 2014. How IRRESPONSIBLE can they be? They flout ISO Certification YET their service BELOW PAR.

Kumar builder is very expert in asking money from customers and not replying to them...I give -10 rating for this builder and their BUILD TRUST tag.
I and many other customers booked flats in KUL ECOLOCH Phase 1 in May-Dec 2011.

My registration was done on Feb 2012 and till now(Apr 2015), we haven't got possession of our flats.

They have completed buildings and flats in order to receive 95% payment in Dec 2013 but they haven't done outside building amenities like road, lights, water, garden, club house till now(Apr 2015). So, obviously we cannot get possession.

Since from Dec 2013, builder is pushing dates of possession and halts progress of development. I am not sure may be he wanted to eat our money for interest and use in another business.

Builder has promised possession of phase 1 on dec 2013 at the time of booking and because of this and Kumar builder's name, I have booked flat there and made biggest mistake of my life.

Its been now 4 years I am chasing them for possession but they are still not giving it.

Now, I have to pay EMI+ House rent together and its overhead.

Also, wash basin and window quality is ridiculous. Wash basin is small and square shaped same like in lodges.

Compare to this builder, there are lot many other good builders in pune. Even, small builders are good than this builder.

Now god knows when I get possession of my flat from this /shameless/money eater builder.

Kumar Builders are not a customer oriented. They lack the qualities of a good Promoters & Developers. I had done a Flat booking on 23rd April, 2013 in KUL - Ecoloch in Mahalunge, Pune by paying pre-booking advance amount. The rates quoted were above the Market Rates prevailing at that time in that area. I had requested for additional time to make next instalment through several registered letters, but there was no response against same till 10th November 2015. They purposely delayed giving response to harass me for reasons unknown. Thereafter, I personally visited their office on Shangrila Gardens, Bund Garden Road, Pune. At that they said to do the rebooking by new rates or else cancel the booking. Despite repeated oral requests, they did not accepted our requests. Thereafter, I cancel my booking in January 2015. As per signed agreement booking terms, they should have refunded my money within one month. Still they kept pending giving excuse, that when my cancel flat will be booked by another customer, than they will refund my amount. In view of above I filed a suit against them in The District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum, Pune (Pune Zilla Munch Grahak Takrar), Nivaran Kendra, Shaskiya Building, "D" Wing, 4th Floor, Opposite Council Hall, Near Sadhu Vaswani Statue, Pune 411001 (Telephone :[protected].Then they came to their senses and immediately returned my booking amount. But the compensation for the harassment, inconvenience, frustration and mental agony compensation suit is continuing in Pune Zilla Munch Grahak Takrar. If any body has problems than I would suggest to approach them for guidance and help.
Just last week only I visited their office and they convenced me by giving discounts and offers and I was also interested and I was planning to book. But when I google about this builder I didn't find any single positive review about this builder and Luckily I escaped from their trap. Thank you all guys for your suggestions.
My friend had booked the flat in kumari buildres.He did not like that flat and he go to the company ask the employees.They were not answering any one.They were very negligence about the customers.
I am also booked the one flat in kumari buildres.They told me that the company will offer will you less price but it is not true the company will not provide less price .The prices are in the sky.
People are writing bad reviews about kumar builder in such a manner as they are trying to went out their office and family frustrations. Sometimes, the reviews look like — a person is specially hired to write against Kumar builders. Guys I am not any buyer not any investor of Kumar builders, a girl domicile of Pune. I don’t know why people are not looking at the previous track record of Kumar Builders. He is famous for his projects. He has given the best projects to their customers. I have also booked a flat in 2012 from my builder, he promised me to give the possession of the flat in 2014. But gave it in Dec 2015. The thing is patience. Wenting out your frustrations through reviews is not a good thing.
