[Resolved]  La Opala — Dinner plate not microwave safe.

The same same thing happened with me too...the plate cracked into halves inside microven, though it was marked..micro oven safe..

Yes. Exactly same happened to me. it says microwave safe and it broke on reheating.
This was the first use!!! not buying again

Same happened with my La Opala plate marked Microwave safe. In 40 Secs, the plate craked into 2 halves. My heart broke and I wonder how products are marked without testing???? La Opala, will you compensate for your negligence?

I have used la opala bowl which was written with 'microwave safe' for sooji frying, on 18/8/14, i have found a crack at the bottom of the bowl after 7 mins o[censored]sing

It happened to my mum today when she she made hot the food in La opala dinner plate. It broke and came out a round piece from the center. Without knowing that its broken she tried to remove the plate and the center broken piece fell down to her foot. There are 6 stitches done at the hospital. She is diabetic and Im worried.

i have purchased laopala plate and bowl from Dmart. it is marked on the plate that it is microwave safe. specially to reheat the food i had purchase it but in one minute in oven the plate become very hot in oven. so the brand is not good and they dint hesitate to write false information ( microwave safe) on plate and bowls.
