[Resolved]  Lenovo 3000 N100 — Battery Life

i brought my laptop on july 2007 .My battery suddenly started reduced its backup after a few months.It reduced directly from 65% to 0%...thus turning it off without a warning.Yesterday, my battery has stoppped charging.It now works only on AC power. Wat to do ???

I too bought a lenovo N series. Battery is not charging anymore. It is just 16 months old
I bought Lenova laptop during June 2007... Battery worked fine only for 3 months... I got to invest another 6k to replace battery... Still i have not replaced... i thought this is one such case. but seeing these comments from u folks.. this brand have serious issue with batteries...
I had bought lenovo 3000 N100 laptop on january 10th, 2007.Now its battery is not charginging.
It will be shut down automatically after 15 minutes exactly.Even if I buy a new battery its warranty is upto 2 years.Then what is the solution to this battery.Should i buy a new battery for every 2 years?
Even if doesnt work then what can I do?I want a better solution.
I have exactly problem as others: Lenovo 3000 N100 - battery (92P1185-92P1186) is dead suddently and can not run with power cable plugged in. I don't think I should buy this batterry since its life is less than 2 years. Any suggestion?

I am facing the same Battery issue with Lenovo N100 Laptop..After 15 months Battery stopped working suddenly...I launched complain with Lenovo customer care and other service centre, but surprisingly without checking they simply said that this needs to be replaced and would cost Rs 6000...Also the moment I mentioned Battery first thing they said without even listening to the complaints that it is not covered in the Warranty...It looks like till now Lenovo has not bothered to tackle these issues as they are not getting affected by this...Other brand post sales services are much better than this one

I too have such a complaint to my lap, the backup time is only 20-25 min..
now im realizing my mistake that i select LENOVO, after a long study about leading laptops, at the time of my purchase. i thought LENOVO is a good choice, but now?????
My hard disk also have some problems, its take more time to load (Not because of OS). and i contact with customer care at warranty time, (Now warranty is over) and they asked me to send invoice copy. I did two times as they told, but they told me that they cant read the scaned invoice copy, where i can read it from another my own email id, that i send as cc. they behaved as not interested in customer service...
its too bad about a company like IBM, to produce and sell such low quality product, and have a rubbish customer care..
I have brought lenovo 300N100 laptop in june2007. In May-2008 battery stops working (0%), laptop only works on AC. After 1 month of this period laptop automatically shuts, i dont know why.?
I have replaced battery in june-2008 as its in warranty..
Now after 1 year in May-2009 this process again starts. Battery stops working.. now its shuts down..
I asked in service center, they says 5700/- for replacement of battery.
Today my laptop is of no use... until i buy new battery.. is it worth ?

yes lenovo laptops are not good. I have 3000N100 laptop. i bought it in sep 2007 and after a year it's battery is gone and it works on power. after 2-3 months of it's battery gone now it's fan is also creating problem. the laptop shutdowns automatically. the customer care centers are charging too much for replacing a battery(Rs.8000) with Rs 500 just for touching it. I won't suggest anyone to buy a lenovo laptop. go for hp or dell i suppose.
i have facing the same problem in battery of lenovo. i purchase my lapy of 3000N100 series in mar2007 and my battery is stop working suddenly after 1 year.then i replace my battery . i think that time that may be the battery hv some prob or every battery has only 1 year life.but my friends have another brand lapy.and their battery is working properly from 3 years.and even i replace my battery by purchasing a new battery, the new battery is also stop charging after 1 year.so i think it is plan of lenovo that battery is working only till when it is in warranty period. so i suggest to everyone that do not purchase the lenovo laptop.i want that lenovo center help me in this matter otherwise i will surely complain this matter against lenovo in the consumer court.
please i have the same problem i bought a new battery it worked just 6 monthes .10.8v

there is 85% but its not charging when i went to the buyer he said that he stoped buying this battery because lenovo battery is the worst battery in the world
