[Resolved]  Lic Of India — NON PAYMENT OF GRATUITY

i agree and strongly recommend that lic shud keep the agents informed
about their rights.

I Pushpa Devi Verma agency code 1546-178 remain agent in Bhiwani (Haryana ) office from 1988 to 2005 & worked for more than 17years. During this period my work & conduct remain good & I was in leading agent of my area Siwani. I worked At village Siwani area in those days where people does not know the meaning of LIC in year 1988 . When I stopped to work due to domestic reason & my agency was terminated. I requested to give GRATUITY to me. The Branch Manager than refused to pay Gratuity by saying that I am not competent because my age is below 60 years. I requested several time verbal & written but never I got satisfactory answer from the authority & I was misguided by the authority in this regard.
Gratuity is payable after 15 years of service or you can opt after the age of 60 or 65 years.
I have written to Lic Bhiwani TO PAY ME GRATUITY AS ON TERMINATION OF AGENCY i.e IN 2005 WITH INTEREST THERE ON UP TO NOW but no reply so far.

Triwari who was LIC AGENT AT Deoria 274001 BR CODE 282/29 E in Gorakhpur Division agency No. 5072282 was dead on 11.12.2010 AND DID THE AGENCY FOR 22 YRS, AS PER LIC NORMS I AM ELIGIBLE FOR GRATUITY PAYMENT BUT TILL DATE NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN, I AM COMPLETE ALL FORMALITIES. but no Action Taken Till Date. Please Take Action As Soon As posible.
