[Resolved] Lion Dates — Bad quality

I purchased Lion dates from Spencers in M.M.D. A. Colony, There were small insects in the dates. I made a complaint to the consumer care division of the company on 6th december 2009. I have not received any communication from them and the action taken by the company. The date of manufacture was September 2009 and the batch no, was D 607. Was this information helpful? I reside in Singapore and just came to know about the popularity of Lion Brand in India. I first bought a 500gm packaged in an container form, it was really delicious. The following week, I bought 3 packs of deseeded dates (500gm + 100 gram) Batch no.: D613 Mfg Date: Mar 2010

All 3 packs have insects in them!! They were alive and some dead! Omg how can I trust this brand's standard again!?!

i have purchased lion dates smaller packet..which contains plastic kind of thread inside the edible portion...which is not at all satisfactory...that too from a certified product.
