[Resolved] Louis Quartz — Duplicate watch sold by Jet Lite | |
Dear Sir, During my journey from Kochi to Hyderabad on 22nd Aug `08 by jetlite, i was told that i had won a prize of a watch which cost Rs 3, 900 in market but with a condition that i need to pay Rs 500 as their service charge. Now after couple of day i realized that i was cheated. The watch has got a guarantee card with no details of its model number, date of purchase etc. I usually check for quality product but never expected to get swindled at a renowned airliner. I am a citizen of india .when i went in jet lite flight i got a surprice gift.i mean scratch and win contest.i got a watch worth rs 2300.but the condition was to pay Rs 500 for tax and other services.
but now i am realized that i hav been cheated. with the watch i also got a international warranty card which is also duplecate.i request u to take a severe action towards them.and kindly pls do the necessary things for that duplicate watch

I thank this forum which saved me form cheating.
I too received the same "SCRATCH to WIN" coupon form AVA merchandising and won LOUIS QUARTZ WATCH.
I usually check and comapre any thing on the NET and accidently happen to see this site and your complaints.
Unless we RAISE OUR VOICE and give written complaint to the concerned authority, this Chain of Cheating will not stop

I was also cheated by Jetlite in the name of Luois Quartz watch during my flight from Bangalore to delhi. I recommend that common plea should be filed against Jetlite and serious action should be taken against these cheaters by the authority. Jetlite violation of specified guidelines is public offense conducted openly.

I was also cheated by Jetlite in the name of Luois Quartz watch during my flight from Delhi to Coimabtore on 8th Oct, 2008. I propose to file a public litigation suit against Jet airways under unfair trade practices act. else we can also file a suit in consumer forum
Me in the bus too. courtesy Jetlite. Watch looks good. Warranty brochure with AVA seal. but no details on model no yada vada. but I dont know if its original or duplicate. How have u all come to the conclusion that its duplicate. even 2 days back one of my colleagues purchased...which means that Jetlite is still not aware of the problem despite all ur protests or that the watch is original.
even i feel i am cheated and this so called gift is still there in jet airways. Why is no action taken against them?
