[Resolved]  Maharashtra University of Health Sciences — Degree not recognised as Bachelors in world

Hi,

I have completed a Bachelors Of Ayurvedic Medicine from the best university in India R.A.Podar Ayurved College, under M.U.H.S. university, Nashik.I was a bright student who had best options of choosing any other field like Engineering, Physiotherapy, or any other successful field.(but owing to no proper guidance and obvious inappropriate knowledge of the field) Now i am in such a muddle after doing this BAMS course that in India nowhere you get respected better than MBBS and people turn to you suspiciously even i[censored] do a MD and outside country the irony is that they don't recognize this (precious 5 and half years course) as bachelors degree. I am currently preparing for GRE and apprehensive about getting admission even after scoring well because world education service has recognized my (5 and half year ) degree as not equivalent to US bachelors degree.Then please close this course in India.
This is question of future of a student who toils and sacrifice all pleasure of life to get a goof future and if he still after completing has to prove shamelessly that he is a bachelors degree.Please close this course no other student in future suffers as much depression as i am suffering now. This is purely a business to open ayurved colleges and make money in Maharashtra.Please stop this course and make some provisions for recognizing the already BAMS graduates as a respectable graduates in the field of medicines.
