[Resolved]  Maya Gas - Ulhasnagar — Extra charges on products

Sir,
I was compelled to pay Rs. 40/- when I went to register for the refilling of my cylinder for the inspection of my gas stove. The service man who came to check immediately asked me to change the green pipe to HP Suraksha pipe. Next time when I called for the refill of cylinder, I was told to change for the pipe without which the supply will be stopped. I agreed for the same. The serviceman came and changed the pipe and asked for Rs. 240/- (Rs.200 for the pipe and Rs. for 40/- for the service charge). After paying the amount when I asked for the receipt I was given a (kacha) invalid receipt. On enquiring at the office I found that the pipe cost was 190/- and the servce charge was unnecessary, which I had already paid. On protesting for the same I was promised the refund of the extra charged amount. But I have received only Domestic Gas Consumer Card worth Rs 25/- (its printed price is Rs.15/-). This is being done with most of the consumer by withholding the supply till they purchase the product recommended by the serviceman. If any such things are made mandatory by the HP gas there should be some notification for the public and proper receipt by the company to be provided.
