Mcdonald's — Poor quality of food, improper service

I am writing this complaint after having faced several instances of improper service by McDonalds.

I want to start by saying that although I respect the McDonalds brand, being probably the best fast food chain in the world, the outlets in India, being managed by Indians, cannot stand upto the international quality and standards for which McDonalds is known.

I went to McDonalds' CP outlet (adjacent Shivaji Stadium) this weekend and ordered burgers worth Rs. 200. I had specifically told the person at the counter that I have had poor experience with McDonalds in terms of the quantity of mayonnaise and the freshness of Lettuce leaves. The guy said that 'we follow a standard single gun shot for putting mayonnaise and the lettuce leaves are fresh'. However when I took the first bite and opened it, only 1/4th of the burger was filled with mayonnaise and rest 3/4th was completely blank (Seems like even a brand like McDs could not avoid the Indian mentality of compromising quantit/quality to save costs). And the lettuce leaf in the burger seemed stale (it was nothing like the one shown in advertisements). I felt like I was robbed of Rs. 200 (had I eaten the burgers in the outlet, I would have fought for it).

Also, the person who took my order told me that it will take 5 mins for the order, while I actually had to wait for more than 15 mins.

This kind of service should be brought to the notice of senior officials at McDs. Hope this complaint opens their eyes.

I REALLY can't believe that these people allow their employees to treat their customers as they do. THEN when I attempt to make a complaint through the McDonalds Corporate site, there's no e mail address and none of the employees in the corporate office had a clue, citing "I never do this (look for the e mail address).. sooooooooooooooooooo..."

This McDonalds is disgusting. The employees are complete [censored]s. I drove through, KNOWING it would again be a crappy experience as it never changes...but I was in a hurry and my granddaughter wanted a happy meal. Happy for her, miserable for me EVERY TIME I go in there.

Each time I wait at least 6 months before I return and each time it's the same. Some of the employees are the same, but generally they just continue to hire trashy smart mouthed jerks that have no idea what customer service is. Nor do they care, they wouldn't mind eating there, but they sure as hell don't want to WORK. And they get real nasty when they have to work.

Today was something new. Before now it's been black and blonde weave in my quarter pounder and when I took it back they refused to give me my money back and told me to "deal with it because I had taken a bite out of it"... THAT'S WHEN I FOUND THE WEAVE, . WHEN I TOOK THE BITE AND PULLES A PIECE OF 6 FT WEAVE WITH MY TEETH. Another time, I asked for an unsweet tea with Splenda, so I receive a sweet tea with Splenda. I let the manager know that I was diabetic and he decided to educate me with all of the things his daughter taught him about diabetes, like I needed a coach and like he had a clue.

Today!... I drive through and paid 14.00 for my supply of Alpo from McDonalds and get to the next window within seconds and was asked what my order was. I sat there looking at that girl and asked her if she was serious. She said "nevermind" and closed the drive through window.

Then they send a to the window with a happy meal and asked me the drink. A 14.00 happy meal??? I don't think so. They didn't explain that they didn't find the order, they just kept bagging things and handing it to me in hopes they would get lucky. I finally asked what was going on. The black girl in the window began the bobbling head and ebonics speak, letting me know in some lame way that I wasn't cooperating in giving the order which I had just ordered and paid for at the window behind me, "SSSSSOOOOOOOO" ... ( "sssssssooooooooo", I guess means, since I didn't understand that they had lost my order I was the ) They handed me some more things that weren't part of my order, I corrected that eventually. I hate myself for not getting my money back and leaving.

I asked her what they were doing, she said "Weyah, we rrrraced yer odah, so if you don't tayell us what it iyahs, you don't git it!" So I told the smart my order and she flung it out the window at me and asked if there would be anything else... I said "yeah, a decent manager." She started screaming at me out the drive through window and said "Weyah, they aint no manajah heeyah toooodaaaayyyyy." I told her that was obvious, and I started to pull out, I looked in my rear view window and she was hanging out the drive through window screaming something, I couldn't decypher her obvious educated diatribe but I do know that place was busy inside and out and I know the people behind me had to have been in sheer amazement. Probably several of the customers inside as well.

I cannot believe that this McDonalds can't locate people who are willing to treat people with respect. Apparently the owners, the Smith's. ( All of the McDonalds here have owers with the last name of Smith as posted on the signs, I wish I would have written that information down, I would have called them and met them there to confront that little wench in person with the owners present) ... the owners just assume they'll gain another customer for every one that they lose at the hand of the most ignorant, incompetent, overbearing, trash that they choose to hire.

I cannot IMAGINE allowing this crap to happen over and over again. And it does! I'm not alone in this. There is ONE person there that is a decent human being. Everyone else sucks right up to the management.

So again, I'm out of there.-- Oh and Carly, in the main office was equally as incompetent. Couldn't locate an e mail address for me to send a written complaint to, so with that, I just decided maybe it's best to take it public.She too was rude. Typical ignorant McDonalds material. I went through there on 12/15/10 at around 1:50 PM just in the event the owners of this place happen to care at all and would like to see who was on at that time.

Just a little tip to the who couldn't figure out the order. Perhaps you may have considered going to the woman who took my order and my money and ask her what my order was once you "rrrrrrraced it". She most likely could have been of assistance to you.

I was an for not handing them the receipt and demanding my money be returned. But hindsight is always 20/20. I just won't go back. Not ever. There are WAY too many options in this town. The last time I saw management like that in a restaurant, the place lost most of it's business and had to put complete new management in there to survive. One last thing. My quarter pounder was burned on the outside, raw on the inside, I didn't get my drinks because sitting there bathing in the stupidity was so overwhelming I had to get out once the cow started screaming as if my being there keeping her in a job was an inconvenience... there were black burned meat crumbs all over the bottom of my burger bun from the grill and the fries were cold. YUMMY!

Kathy and whoever her husband, Mr. Smith is... better take a good long look at the that can't even handle working at McDonalds. If there are enough people like me that are that adversely affected, you WILL lose your business eventually.

Cici's Pizza or Pita Delight for me, the next time I want to dine on that side of town. They ALL care about their customers. None of the trash from that McDonalds would ever be hired into places like these. I would be safe there. I spend alot of money out as I work 2 jobs. You pigs will NEVER see another dime of my money. It's Alpo for humans anyway.
