[Resolved]  medical — Medical Negligence

My father-in-law Late Podiyan Mathai was admitted in Pushpagiri Medical College Hospital, Thiruvalla on 20 Feb 2012 (OP No 344655) after a road accident. He sustained Segmental Fracture Left Leg in the incident and he died at the hospital ICU in the night of 23 Feb 2004 due to medical negligence. Hospital authority informed us the same at around 06.30 am on 24 Feb 2012. As per the death summary provided by the hospital, the death occurred at around 06.40 am on 24 Feb 2012 and the cause of death was Myocardial Infarction/Acute Coronary Syndrome. Whereas, as per the Postmortem report the death caused due to Pulmonary Thromboembolism. Both the reports are contradictory and it is evident that the death caused do to negligence of the hospital. Kindly investigate the matter and initiate suitable action against the hospital for their negligence. The postmortem report and the death summary provided by the hospital are attached for ready reference please.
