Once denied the offer of internship they will again call you and ask you about the expected salary and would ask to come for the interview. When you reach there again. They again offer for internship. There is no coordination between the company employees. I think it is a good company. Because I went for the same HR interview there and did not got selected but people over there are warmth enough and referred me for another known company where in I got the job. You have to understand their view as well. From your note, I understood that ur a fresher therefore u might not be knowing the general operational related issues. Fine anyway all the best and don't be panic dear, world is still there for u with enough opportunities.
