[Resolved]  Meha world — This is a fraud company

VERY TRUE. Meha world - This is a fraud company I too was deceived a few years ago. I too posted my bad experience with this fraudster on this site BUT regret to note that my post has had no effect and this fake company continues to dupe innocent people. I don't understand what is the use of posting on this site. Surprisingly, I am unable to view even my own post on this site. Can any one clarify please.

may be some gift company — continuously calling

from last 3 days i am getting a call from some gift company .first i listen to that call and refuse their gift from onwards dailly al least 25 times or more their different executives are calling me . wht should i do.
i am having tata pre paid connection . and i receive call from [protected].

Watch worth Rs 2000. — Gift Courier was never delivered

I had sent a courier to my family member a Gift watch worth Rs. 2000/- on date 17-Oct-09 with consignment # Z97146303 from Indrapuram, Gaziabad (Delhi NCR) to Bhubaneswar.

The Online tracking says it is delivered though it was never actually delivered. The bhubaneswar team says they never rcvd it.

Complaint logged with DTDC but no response. Incurred bills worth Rs. 500/- in telephonic follow up.

See if anyone here can help me.

I just received a call from this so called "Meha World Company" ... the name itself sounds dubious. Anyways the lady on the line told me that my telephone number has been selected for a gift prize worth of Rs 4000. The lady said that their company is opening a new branch in Chennai and hence they got a survey of 500 telephone numbers and mine got selected ( the funny part is ..in the back ground i heard another female talking the same to someone else). So she gave me a gift number (20203) and a telephone number ([protected]) and asked me to speak to a female called Usha. Apparently, once i speak to her and tell the gift number, and give my address, they will come and deliver the gifts it seems. They didnt tell me about the 600 rupee service charges. Thanx to this website and to yogiithal, i got my suspicion right.

Same incident, same company. Searched on net and got list of complaints against this company.
Beware please.

hi i also got 1 call from ths company.. for me also they were telling d same i.e they ll give me a gift of 8000rs and i have to pay delivery charges of 715... i gave my address also. after reading this i canceld... thank you friends

I am also faced the same incident which is mentioned above. All are same like company name “Meha world”, Person name “Usha”, Amount worth “Rs-4000”, they asked me to pay Rs-680.Then I decided to search in Google luckily I got this web site and I read all. Then I decided to see their website. Because usha said this is big company for advertisement we are doing like this. I called Usha([protected]) and asked their website, she don’t know their website then she asked Asha to tell their web address. Then finally said www.mehaworld.com immediately I try to open their website. But there is no webpage in the above mentioned address.Then I asked their land line number. She said we don’t have any landline numbers. We are using only cell phones she said. Finally my doubt is confirmed.
Then i waited the person who carries the Rs-4, 000 worth gift. He came and said I am courier boy I will not open and show the things. After some argument he opened and showed me the product. That five products are not worth for Rs-4, 000. It is worth around Rs-500 – 600. Finally I got their mentality. The truth behind this is. They sell their product in hi-tech fraud method.

and i said to them that i never ever hear abt that company name...and said u ppl a fraud rite..and that gal cut the cal..:)happy ending

You Guys should have tied the courier guy and made the people come and get him, that 500 rs is service charge huh ?, WtF man, Did u ever demand any service from them, its a shame for so much educated people to be part of scammers like this, I got a mesage (in my regional language) saying I have won Rs.20300, it obviously is a scam, y do u want to even bother about it and get ditched, sorry for everyone who got scammed, but there was a whole lot of chance not to have been cheated,

I also got same information from only lady of Meha Wolrd. I repeatedly asked her about the selection of my mobile. She simply said, out of thousand mobile numbers, I got selected one among them. She also gave the same mobile number ([protected]) as mentioned about. I immediately asked her to give the land line number. She simply said, they normally use mobile number. Fortunately, I searched thro web site and everyone is writting the same thing. Thanks to all.
Just now I called that lady mobile number (received thru my mobile) and informed her that I am calling from Teynampet police station and told her that I got so may complaints from you regarding free gift. I also informed her that Ambattur Police will come and arrest all of you. She simply said, she has not called my mobile number.

So please be alert for this kind of bogus call.

dear friends not this company is cheters there working girls also very big cheters with the same company girl i fall in love with her she played very bad with my emotions they are well tryned to chet the pepoles.
i don`t know why do they do like this they don`t fear to god also this pepole will enter the hell.

hi friends i dont known ur faces but i like to see all o[censored] guys to tell thanks in a difftent manner, because im greatly escaped from this fraud company by loosing RS: 2557 service charge for a gift worth RS:22500, only after reading this messages and i got aleart, now-a-days they r sending the parcel by post office so dont trust them it is legal method it is one type of cheating, we are coming from poor background this is all my heart pains guys, finally im telling thanks to all of the friends giving advices and alerts.

I agree with the above comment.. The post office has those gifts (so called).. lolz.. I personally went there and saw many parcels like mine.. I finally found its not a gift.. its a fraud.. They also told me they call from teleshopping.. So beware.. they are not mentioning Meha world now a days.. :) Cheers..

hi friends.this is true.i got a call from this company that i won Rs.20000 gift and while delivery i have to pay Rs.2000 as tax...so i searched for this company details in net and thanks for this update on this fraud company...i am escaped from this fraud...really thankful to yogiithal and all friends for this information and alerts.So beware...

Yes, This is Fraud Company . They call([protected]) to our BSNL landline and give some random Gift ID and ask us to call to ([protected]) and that ur landline has won Rs 5000 gift pack, I called from different BSNL landline (*****700) and told that gift ID, funny part is she is saying "Congratulations ur landline (*****700) has won a gift pack", i just called from that landline and she is saying that landline number has won Rs 5000 gift pack, ROFL...This is too much. Please never respond ever to such calls, now a days if we pay full amount for a product also people cheat, who will give Rs 5000 gift for Rs 780 so called service/delivery charge.

OMG!!my mom got the call from tat company.Thy told tat it is a 20000RS worth of gift products..I was suspecting ths from the very starting..today the postman came and gav a bil kind of paper stating tat i hav to go and pay RS.2557 at post office and get the parcel..thank god i came to kno abt tis in net..otherwise my dad's money would hav gone in vain...ivangala enna modern thieves ah...plan potu thirudranga!!

thanks for posting outright good information, today I too received the call from Sukanya saying she is from Nehaworld and instructed me call[protected] and my gift number was F-2923 worth cool 5, 000 ( too mouthwatering), I am an argumentative Indian so I tried the search rather than calling them. Hope they will search new bakra,
