Address:Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Hi

My cousin In law met with an accident 27th of March, Initially 108 Ambulance took him to GH we checked in GH and Moved him to MIOT by 7:00 PM in the evening on the same day. MIOT admitted him in TICU provided Mobile numbers to reach and find the status check. In the night we are keep on calling that number from land Line as well as from the direct Mobile no, We found that the mobile was given to one of the Patient and all the sisters and everyone went for sleep.

Next day we visited Hospital found none of the nurses on the duty able to find that phone. finally they found the phone with the patient. MIOT Collecting money but not providing the service.

Initially they told he is in critical conditions, we have to stabilizie him for 72 Hours, after 72 Hours we have to go for surgery. We ask him why he is in ventilations while admiting he was breathing normal. The explanations given by them, the cavitiy below the longs filled with Liquid so we have to remove. during this course to help him we provide the Venitlations they claim this normal practice in Miot.

But during all this days they given sedations to him. We asked whye he given sedations, the patient is rest less and moving his hand, he is pulling all the needles and tube so we have to keep in sedations. Afte 5th day, they told he has to go for surgery so immediately the pay 2 Lacs rupees for his surgery by the evening. We paid the the full amount. we went next day, Doctors told he is not fit so we can't carry out the surgery. The same doctor told us to pay the money, By the way threating with patient health they collected the money, perday icu fee is 25000, So they retain him for next 10 days with this money without surgery. Everyday we visited exactly after the 10th day morning they called and told that he is passed away. So cruel they killed him by kept him sedation.

They kept the patient in the Venitlator whether it is needed / Not needed dosen't mind. They want money to flow in. Due to non-strelized ventilator my inlaw passed by catching all the venitalator bound disease in 15 days. Really pathetic the MIOT management very clever in getting signature from the patient relatives without explaining the details collecting money in advance.

So do not send any patient for MIOT, They are commercial culprits. No Humanity is there?? this hospitals good for nothing.

same is the case with me, even after knowing that my father is BP patient and surgery can be planned 7 days after stopping particular tablet, chief doctor (MD) told us to get admitted on 4th day. Then spine surgeon told that we can not perform the surgery as it comes under critical one. They told us to stay in hospital for 3 days . We come to know this thing when we argued with then and fought with them. Finally I asked for discharge as there is no point for staying there for 3 days.
management in MIOT I pathetic, all doctors and nurses, lies bluntly. even after paying heavily there is no proper care. They allowed out country patient to bring food from outside but for Indian patient it is not allowed, they way they teat Indian patient with double standard.
My advice is to avoid MIOT as it is not treatment worth money spending.
Miot is not for good
Worst place to be there. Not certified doctors at all. All they charge is money for no reason. People at the reception has no manners towards how to talk and behave. For a simple fever they will put you in ICU and charge around 50k for not even 24 hours. Hospital are full of MOSQUITOES and dirty washroom every where a person might get the chance o[censored]TI infections. All the doctors are trainees and mostly non knowledgeable and inexperienced. Highly recommended to avoid
First off please don't trust the word International. This hospital facility is not even district level, see the pics. Second I see only training doctors fresh out of college. I haven't met one Sr.Dr atleast I didn't feel who ever I spoke is a senior doctor. Worst part the hospital staff gives an estimate of RS.95000 for 3 days treatment but the original bill is ₹25000. What an estimation calculator they have ??? Pictures will speak more. Stay away from this hospital if you can !!
First thing they do is collect the money and make you wait for couple hours even before you see a dr. Service is very poor. If you think private hospital is better than government hospitals, think twice. MIOT is worst.

Worst hospital ever seen... Today we have admitted there for accident emergency. The attender started keep on saying for x-ray, even though I m showing my legs and hands are good. My cousin has a minor injury in her face, they started pushing us to take CT scan, x-ray, CT facial... Because of her pain we accepted other than x-ray. And they moved her to ICU where they have started treatment by just giving glucose.. and extra test which is nowhere related to injury. No oinments for injury in hands and in legs.staffs and nurses behave very rude and following their own foolish rules. Visiting hour is 3 to 5.Her mom came to hospital after a very long travel from trichy and they didn't allowed. They said only if you are wish to admit then only we provide medical assistance... Finally with un satisfication we discharge her.But bill is Rs.33000(Just for test and some injection, they didn't say any thing).Only one chief doctor is good, all others are just for fun and enjoyment- visiting the patient and reading records for future purpose(how to make money).

The above mentioned in there respective website. However, They aren't following what they mentioned and well I personally experienced, the hospital is not worth for middle class and below. I lost my close friend because of lot of odd rules and regulations in the hospital. Its pathetic. The hospital is purely money oriented. Only the infra structure is good.
Worst place... I will not suggest anyone to come here...time waste...the process will take whole day... management is bad...the whole system of miot is worse...N believe me the cardiology department is really disappointed. .the hospital is not for middle or lower class people...my previous experience of global hospital was far better...but miot is disappointed...if they have minus star rating I would have given that...I came to the hospital at 7am today i.e, nov 21 2018 and now the time is 16:31..till now I'm at the hospital...with all my frustrations I am writing this review...Again I will not suggest public to visit this place...
