[Resolved] Mobile Store / Nokia - 2680 — THE MOBILE STORE SELLS DEFECTIVE MOBILES | |
I bought Nokia-2680 from 'The Mobile Store', Galleria Super Market, Gurgaon. IMEI:[protected]. Cutsomer Number[protected]. With in couple of days I discovered that it is a defective piece - the screen will go blank for few seconds whenever I get an incoming call or I try to make a call. I went back to them on which they asked me to go to Nokia service center. Then I went to Nokia service center, on examining the phone they said that it needs to be sent to their Service HQ to fix the defect, and I'll get it back only after 2 weeks. When I asked them to replace it, they told me that it can be replaced by the mobile store only since I purchased it from them. On going back again to mobile store, they told me that "THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!! Only Nokia could replace it if they wanted to, else i should go back to the service centre & get it repaired!!! My complaint is that 'The Mobile Store' or Nokia should have immediately replaced the cellphone for a manufacturing defect. But there was no intertest shown from both the companies to deal with it. They sell it and pocket the money, and then leaves the customers to the mercy of service centers to deal with. What would I do for 2 weeks...do I buy a new phone till the time I getmy phone back??? In case of manufacturing defect, why are they not replacing it??? They are just taking the consumers for ride because the law enforcement in India is poor. This is really disgusting...
