[Resolved]  M/s Sridhar Gas Service,7/19, Morrison First Street, Alandur, Chennai - 600016 — non supply of gas cylinder even after a month

Sir,

I had registered for a gas refill cylinder on 12/10/10 with M/s Sridar Gas serveice, Alandur chennai 16. My consumer No. is 39082. So cylinder was not supplied till 3/11/10. So I rang up to the Agency to supply the gas cylinder and they promised to supply it. Since it was not supplied till 8/11/10 again I made a call to the Agency in the morning and another call in the evening as reminder. The Agency has turned a deaf ear and till today (11/11/10) the gas cylinder is yet to be supplied. I doubt whether they follow any kind of norms and regulations set by the Govt. in Gas cylinder supply. I have come across people of this area saying that the gas cylinder can be procured after paying an extra amount of Rs. 100/ and that too even without registering for gas cylinder.

In this connection I would like to bring to your kind notice that I had also made a complaint to your office phone No. 24339246 regarding this. My complaint No. is 13854 Dt. 10.11.10. Today I tried to get to know the follow up and feed back, but they say they are helpless. There seems to be something wrong with the present system in redressing public grievance.

Hence I request you to arrange to supply gas cylinder without delay and to initiate appropriate action against the dealer.
