New India Assurance — Complaint against your system for the Claim of Vehicle Swift Car no. HR 05 AD 1103

This is regarding on the caption subject that we’ve purchased insurance policy of your New India Assurance Company Ltd. Vide policy no.-[protected] from 16thMay,2012 to 15thMay,2013 from your Maruti Authorized dealer, i.e., M/S Modern Automobiles, Karnal. This policy is continuing since long. The Company issued the policy on the cashless basis. On 11thMay,2013 when I was on the way to Kanpur; I met with an accident near Firozabad around 3:30 PM with my family. I went to your authorized service partner, i.e., M/S Aman Motors, Firozabad for repair of my damaged car. He said ‘’In Cashless Policy, you would have to wait for 1 day as it is already 5 PM and surveyor will be deputed by the Company and after then he will come and make the report. This time it is not possible to do on cashless basis. You pay the cash and repair your vehicle and claim the amount from your Karnal dealer otherwise you stay here and next day, we’ll deliver you the car.” At the same moment, I talked to concerned agencies in Karnal. After giving me the assurance that you repair the vehicle at Firozabad right now, we’ll see the matter in Karnal. After then I repaired my damaged vehicle from Aman Motors vide their bill no. - 021642 dated 11thMay, 2013 vide their job no. 0017712 for Rs.12,001 (Twelve Thousand One Rupees), paid in cash as it wasn’t possible to stay over there because of my family and myself were in the unknown area. I returned to Karnal on 17thMay2013, and I went to M/S Modern Automobiles, Karnal for the claim. They called the insurance company representative. The insurance company refused to give me the claim saying that your policy has been renewed vide no.-[protected] from 16thMay,2013 to 15thMay,2014. Saying that you’ve given the NCB 25% in the policy, we’re helpless and cannot do the claim. I requested him that if he could adjust the NBC in the next policy but he did not agree to do so. Being a customer, I don’t understand where I am faulty and why I and my company will continue with your Maruti Channel Partner & New India Insurance. I’ve 5 vehicles with me which are insured by your company. In future, how can we trust on you? I request you to kindly do the needful action and give my genuine claim to me. Also, I’ve already visited many times for same issue from last 2 months but every time they manipulated me which has lost my faith and trust. Their unsatisfactory response has resulted to bring this issue under your guidance for early response. An early action would be highly appreciated.
