[Resolved]  New Nokia N79 — Bad service from Nokia for New N79-IMEI No-[protected]

This is regarding an issue with Nokia N79 Handset (IMEI No-[protected]) which I have purchased on[protected]Saturday)

round about 9:00PM from Hot Spot Sec-17, Faridabad. When I inserted my sim card at my home in the phone, a message appeared

and phone gone in Offline mode automaticaly. Next Day was Sunday and I didn't have choice untill wait for Monday.

Monday arround 1:30PM[protected] I visied Nokia Care located at Nehru Ground, Faridabad. After all inspection they asked me

to submitt the phone for software upgrade and committed delivery by evening 6:00PM (Job Sheet No[protected]/090518/47).

Same day I again visited Nokia Care, It was told to me that the problem is with the Hardware and not with the software and it

need to be send to Nokia Head Office, Noida and committed delivery by 15 Days.

After 15days when I again visited then found a swap of another "Used N79 Handset" with different color (Grey) and bad

condition. After a worst debate I was again asked for another 8 to 10 days to get back my Handset by the representative.

And then after five days I got a call from Nokia Care Faridabad that Nokia doesn't have N79 in Stock and I will have to

compromise with same Greay Used Handset which was offered me earlier.

I am in touch with Mr. Pankaj Bhangar (Manager Nokia Care Faridbad) for last 15 days but not got any appropriate answer.

I am a business man and using Nokia for last eight years on the basis of the performance, support and service. I was your

happy customer since then. The act of customer support and feedback from Nokia has forced me to go to CONSUMER FORUM as it is

effecting my business and daily activities. Since I can not wait anymore thus request you to either refund my money or

provide me the new working handset, failing to which legal formalities would be done.

As Nokia is of world class brand and belives in customer will appreciate my concern and my losses.

N79 — Worst service

Dear whomever,
i bought n79 for 17175 on 13.6.09. Today i took it to service centre with a complain tht it is automatically switchin off and restarting and upper keypad problem. I gave it to Nokia care in nagpur owned by Mr, Anurag Wade. Now service centre people tell me to return my mobile after 20-25 days. Am i a fool to buy such expensive handset .He is least concerned abt customers. I want u to reply and come up with a soln and please mail me. I wan2 take any respective action against him for his cheap and unsophisticated behaviour. How cum nokia gives outlets to these people.

Nokia — NEW N79 NOT WORKING

I have recently bought a new Nokia phone - Model N79I ,( IMEI 356044/03/142566/1 ) from a retail shop at Delhi. With in a Month, I realized a serious defect in it, which is presumably a manufacturing defect. The Display hangs often. I took it to the nearest Nokia Custmer care centre and they have admiited a fault in it. Further they told me the repair facilty is not available at our Sentor, it is to be sent to Head Office would take around 15 days. I gave them the phone It is now more than 20 days and am yet to get my phone. As they have not honor the committment, I am not comfortable with the response of the Customer care service.

I did not expect a new phone would be defective and also the Company takes such a long time to repair the phone. If they can't repair , they should at least replace the phone. I one again request the concnerned person at the Nokia H.O / Custmer care and see that my phone is repaired or replaced without any further delay.
