DEAR SIR,
I AM THE NISSAN LIVINA OWNER'S HUSBAND, THE CAR BOUGHT SINCE 2008 OCTOBER . FIRSTLY I WAS TEST DRIVE ON NISSAN LIVINA IS A GOOD CAR, BUT THEN THE SERVICE CENTRE WHICH PROVIDE US THE EXPLANATION IS POOR. DURING I SEND THE CAR FOR SERVICE / WARRANTY JOB THEY ALWAYS REPLY / INFORM ME LATELY ABOUT 2-3 MONTH ( PARTS ARRIVE ) IF I DONT CALL THEM THEY JUST MAKE DONT KNOW.
ONE ISSUE IS VERY UNHAPPY FOR ME IS I ALREADY COMPLAINT ABOUT THE STEERING SYSTEM ( SAFETY ISSUE) GOT KNOCKING NOISE & THEY SAID THE( STEERING COLUMN SHAFT) NEED TO REPLACE TO IMPROVEMENT PARTS, THAT ONE OK FOR ME BUT AFTER CHANGING THAT PART I JUST DRIVE ONLY FOR ONE TO TWO MONTH THE KNOCKING NOISE STILL APPEAR & REMAIN THE SAME KNOCKING NOISE. I SEND IT AGAIN TO THE WORKSHOP THEY REFUSE TO CHANGE IT ( THAT PART ONLY CAN CLAIM ONE TIME ONLY ) JUST ONLY CAN (CLAMP IT ONLY AT VISE ) . AFTER THE WARRANTY PERIOD FOR 3 YEARS / 100, 000KM OVER I FOUND OUT THE KNOCKING NOISE IS FROM THE STEERING RACK ASSY PRODUCE KNOCKING NOISE ( I WAS FEEL VERY ANGRY & SAD FEELING LIKE GET CHEATING ).
I CALL THE WORKSHOP AGAIN & ASK THEM THE STEERING RACK PRODUCE KNOCKING NOISE WHY THE TECHNICIAN CAN'T FIND THE PROBLEM & SOLVED IT. I ASK THEM WHAT IS THE SOLUTION FOR THIS ISSUE, THEY SAY NEED TO CHANGE THE STEERING RACK ASSY, I SAID WHY DON'T U CHANGE UNDER THE WARRANTY PERIOD & NOW THE WARRANTY PERIOD IS OVER. THEY SAID SORRY SIR THE COST OF THE STEERING RACK ASSY COST ABOUT RM4,[protected]EW01A) YOU NEED TO PAY & I REFUSE TO CHANGE IT BECAUSE THE PRICE IS SKY HIGH!!!
THE PROBLEM IS I ALREADY SEND THE CAR TO THE WORKSHOP FOR CHECKING / INSPECTION ABOUT THIS ISSUE UNDER THE WARRANTY PERIOD WHY THE DONT WANT TO CHANGE FOR ME (REALLY CHEATING) THEY JUST CAN SAID SORRY I CANNOT HELP YOU .
FOR THE STEERING SYSTEM IS THE (SAFETY ISSUE) OF THE CAR .
