Nokia 5300 — Defective product, poor service

I am writing this complaint today after great deal of inconvenience and trouble I faced on buying a 'trusted' Nokia phone. For about six months, the phone worked fine but soon after, it started giving me problems...ranging from poor sound quality to bad quality pictures to camera not working at all! Next logical step, I took it to the Nokia Care center at Green Park. ... And it did not end there...after sevaral visits spanning a couple of months, I still have a phone (swapped one) which I cannot use as the technicians gave it to me without checking it properly, not to mention that they also failed to rectify my original phone!Till date my swapped phone is still lying with the company under Jobsheet no.---[protected].

This is not expected out of a reputed and robust company. Pls do something about it ASAP.

Nokia 5300 — poor deal

hello sir,
i purchased my mobile on 3/6/08 and in two weeks, the memorycard was damaged. it anyway got replaced and so, i kept quiet. recently, my display got damaged and i consulted a nearby nokia care(gandhi bazar) and they took my mobile in. as they returned my mobile, i found out that i was cheated and my battery now doesnot give me a backup for a day. i request you to reply to me as i need to talk to you for a moment.

Nokia 5300 — Defective piece

Sir, I regret to inform you about poor response from your NOKIA dealer / Care Center. I purchased NOKIA 5310 ESN.IMEI No. [protected] Product code 0565054 GSM from M/s. Maruti Electronics Gandhidham vide Book No.169 / Inv. No 16899 dtd[protected] costing 8200 including VAT. Within 2 days screen gone and handed to Sainath Mobile Care, Gandhidham, JobSheet No.[protected]/090425/18 ASC 531_504867, Today is[protected] and till today I could not get clear possition. I'm fed up with your Care Centre as well as with your Dealer of Gandhidham. I launch complaint in no. of cumsumer care sites and also publish the same in all news media if I'll not get the response and corrective action in this regards. Awaiting your quick response.

Nokia 5300 — unsatisfactory service

Dear Sir/Madam

I am very dis-satisfied with the services rendered by the Nokia shop at Madhu Vihar. I wish to bring this to your notice and hope some action will be taken.
On the 10th of February 2010 I had given my cell phone Nokia 5300 for repair to Tele Junction – the Nokia shop at Madhu Vihar. He had said the phone could not be repaired at the shop and would have to be sent to the service centre. The executive at the shop, Mr. Vikas Verma said that the phone would be returned by 8 p.m. on the 11th. He said estimated charge would be 500 Rs. If the charge was more then the service centre would ring up to verify if the job was to be done or not. An advance of Rs. 112/= was taken and he said this money would be deducted from the bill if the phone was repaired. However if we did not want the phone repaired the amount given would be charged as engineers fee. We agreed to it. However I have a number of grievances.:-

1. The phone was to be returned on 11th but when I rang up to inquire he said the phone would be given on 12th. On 12th he said the phone would be given on 13th. On 13th the man on the phone said vikas was not there and would be back in 15 mts. I told him to call back which he did not. I was also told that the phone has not returned from the service center. On 14th morning I went to the shop and the repaired phone was given to me. I asked why was I told last night at 8.30 pm that the phone has not come back yet. He said the cab comes at 9 p.m. I want to know why 8 p.m. time was given to me when the cab comes at 9. Mr. Vikas said he had rung me up to tell the phone was repaired and that I could collect it. This was a lie, I was never called (the telephone records can easily verify this) on the 13th. Why no information about the delay was given when they ask for a contact number. The number is not to be given for decorative purposes. The number given was my husband’s – Mr. K.P.Gupta – the name on the bill.

2. Secondly he said the charges were 593. When I paid him 500 Rs and asked him to deduct 112 from the final bill he said no, the 112 was not to be returned. I asked him why he had lied and he again lied and said that he had said the 112 would not be returned. In that case why was the 112 not shown in the bill. Secondly, If my maths is right the amt. then was 593+112=705. This is not less than 500. In that case why had the service centre not rung me upto ask if I was willing to pay more than the amount stipulated (estimated to be 500 plus taxes on the jobcard)?. He had no answer to that. I am not grudging the money, which I have paid but the fact that I was cheated – if the charge was to be 1000 I would have paid it willingly if I had been told in advance that I would have to pay so much.

I am sure that Nokia has a very good reputation and would like to love to live up to it. I would be glad if you looked in to the matter and informed me of your conclusion.

Nokia — Defective product and poor service

Dear All,

I am very sorry to inform you but the services whcih I am getting is very poor.

I have bought Nokia X2 on 30th October 2010 within 2 months there was some problems found in that and I went to Nokia care and submitted the same to get it repaired I was told I will get the same back in 12 days which dint happen and I got the same back after a month.

Later in the month of Feb I faced and issue with headphones I get it replaced again as the same was in warranty period.

last week again I faced similar issues in my headphones I went to Nokia care again and I ask them why this headset is giving problems, to my surprise I was told that this headset is diffective and they are getting regular complains on the same. I gave a call to Nokia care centre on[protected] to get a good quality headset as my headset warranty will be expired on[protected] months warranty for accessories).

My complain was taken on[protected] and I was given a complain no 1-[protected]. I was told that my issue will be resolved in 48hrs. I dint never got even a single call after which I gave a call again on[protected] I was assured by teleofficer that he will arrrange a call back from his senior before 9:00pm same day whcih again dint happen.

I dint received any call till 4:00pm on 30th March 2011. I got a call after 4:30 pm when I was watching Cricket with my family. Later on 31st morning when I called again I was managed to speak to senior officer named Rajveer who told me that his disignation is floor supervisor, Post speaking to him he assured me a call from technical team by 5:00 pm.

This was the third time when thy have failed from their commitments. Post which I again gave a call at 6:30 I was told that a person named Manish is taking care of my case I emphasised to connect my call to him, after a long negotiation with teleofficer my call was connected to Manish. When I spoke to manis I was thought he is the person who will resolve my issue, but to my surprise he was a floor supervisor I got frustrated and I asked him when my issue will be resolved he stated that he is Escalating my issue and I will again receive a call from Escalation officer in 48 working hrs I asked him to tell me the exact TAT which he explained after my force that 48 working hours is 4 working days to get a call from Escalation officer.

My questions to you is.

1. Is I have done a mistake by buying Nokia Phones?

2. Why if the headset is diffective Nokia is not taking corrective measures?

3. Why his consumers need to complain for its product once in every two months from the date of purchase.

4. What is Customer care support is for? Does an Escalation call needs 4 days to actually call and provide the resolution of complain?

5. When a consumer is complainig for a particular accessories why the same is replaced which again spoiled?

Hope this becomes an eye opener for Nokia and I hope to get some positive reverts from your end.
