[Resolved]  Nokia 6700 Classic — Nokia Care Service, BTM Layout, Bangalore

I bought a Nokia 6700 Classic(Silver Color) on 26-Aug-2009 from Planet M, Brigade Road.

But after a week when I tried the BLUETOOTH,it was not working.
So I gave it to Nokia Care located at BTM Layout Bangalore on 05-Sep-2009.
My Job Sheet number is[protected]/090905/13.
I have been told by the manager that it is a hardware problem and it'll take 15days to repair/replacement.


On 19-Sep-2009,when I went,they delayed delivery for 7 days telling me"they are going to replace as it could not be repaired."
Again on 25-sep-2009, they delayed for 3 more working days with a cause "Stock not available."
On 30-sep-2009, when I visited again, I got a an exclamation that "The set has been replaced with an Black colour mobile set that I felt a used one(The case seems not a new one) and not of my choice(Colour)."
So I did not received that set and had a talk with manager who assured me within next 4-5 working days I will get the silver colour Mobile set.
Again on 05-Oct-2009 visit,I have been told the stock will arrive on the next day and they will deliver it on 7th.
But in 7th Oct,again they are telling that it will take 4-5 days more for delivery.

I hope,you can sense the pain I'm bearing now(WIth a 8 visits per month for a new mobile).
I asked the manager and the contact person to refund if possible,so that I can go for another one where it is available.
But I got a reply,"Once You purchased,there is no way to get you the money back what ever may be the cause."

It seems all my efforts and there promises are in vain as they do not feel the value of time and money I am spending just for the shake of a mobile.
Being brand loyal to Nokia since last 3 years is paying it now to me(Till the date, this is the worst servcie, I got in my life)

Nokia 6700 Classic — regarding replacement

i have purchased my nokia phone on 19 aug 2009 from nokia priority vikas marg, nw with in one month my ph is getting off automaticallly ,baterry not getting charged ,i have submitted my phone in nokia care on 17 sep 2009.jobsheet number is[protected]/090919/9 .i m really disappointed its been 12 days ,there is no information my phone , wheather getting replaced or repaired. as i m docter ,all contact number have been gonee, my work is suffering a lot.i personaaly adviced not to buy nokia phone if u don,t want to get in trouble.i m from dehradun jus ,staying in delhi because of my phone. i have taken 20 days leave from my hospital ..hoping for a speedy responce,,,,,,,,,,, i don;t feel nw nokia is a reliable company ,

nokia 6700classic — bad service from nokia care centre

Hi,

I bought a nokia 6700 classic from Dubai last week.When I bought that to India and tried to use it,it was not getting powering on.So I went to Nokia care(Rockey Agencies,Chennai).They told me they will fix the issue with in two days as it requires a software change.So I agreed to them and asked them to change software.At the end of second day I called them and equired whether the complaint is fixed or not.They said they will send an sms before EOD so that I can go and collect my phone.Atlast I called up them again and so they said they cant fix the problem they want my handset to be serviced from their head office.So they want my permission to send the handset.I read from many posts from here and said no to them.They cant do anything.They are simply doing experiments on mobiles.Why Nokia gave them authorised dealer badge.Shame....
I am also completely aggreeing with Narayan on poor service being provided by this Nokia Care Center (BTM Layout, Bangalore).
I think they are not only dissatifying their most of the customers, but also they are playing with expensive Handsets and leaving them in a miserable state .

I purchased my nokia-e72 handset in march 2011, after 3 moths of purchasing it started giving some audibility problem . Then I took the phone to nokia service center (btm layout, bangalore) and they reported some liquid problem in microphone and charged me rs. 1700 for repairing as liquid problem is not covered in warranty.
After that I took the phone and used it for 2 weeks but the same audibility problem started again. I again went back to them and they kept the phone with them again for repairing.
After 2 weeks they returned me the phone saying its repaired now but when I checked it was still having audibility issues.
Service given by this service center tended me to complete frustration. I gave the phone again to them and said to check it properly this time otherwise give me replacement of the phone as it is in warranty period.
They again DID some engineering with this and after some time the key pad and phone locking system stopped working.
Then I took this phone to other nokia center because I really don’t trust the kind of technicians this nokia care center (btm layout, bangalore) is having .
In nokia carepoint (3rd block jaynagar), they old that the phone has been badly tempered . The component is fully burnt to repair water damage which has lead the phone in a miserable state.
Now they are asking me that I will have to give the dead approval for the phone as repainring it againg can lead it to a dead condition .Also I will have to pay 1400 rs . So that they can try to repair it, but since the phone is badly tempered they cannot give me any warrenty coverage or replacement .
But my question to nokia is that what kind of service center and what kind of technician they are keeping, who even dont have proper techincal knowledge. And when my phone is badly burnt and tempered by their own service person they why I am not eligible for any warrenty coverage?
I have purchased this 16000 rs phone in march 2011 and have hardly used it for 3-4 months till yet, and now its in dead condition . I am not at all willing to go to any service center and give it for repairing with dead approval, as they have lead me to only and only frustration as in last 6-7 months.
I am really unhappy and disappointed with the service and products provided by nokia . Seems noika has loosen its quality and services a big time. And now they are no more a trustworthy mobile handset sellers. I will recommend mobile users to not to go for any nokia if they want to purchase a business prone or a smart phone.
When my phone is tempered by noika service person only they why I am not able to get any warrenty coveragr or replacement for this phone?
