Dear Mr. Shivakumar

I was looking for a contact in your Senior Management to lodge this complaint about the treatment that has been meted out to me by Nokia. Since I am unable to find the right person, I thought the second best person to send it to would be someone who looks after media relations and I found your email address through google.

Let me state the facts of this case :

1. I purchased a Nokia E50 handset in July 2007. After about two months, I noticed that the handset was overheating everytime I had a conversation for more than 10 minutes. At first I dismissed it and continued using the handset and sometimes resorted to using it in the speaker phone mode so as to minimise contact with the handset while talking for more than 10 minutes.Then I called up some users who were using this particular model to check whether they faced any similar problem with their handset and found that none of them faced this issue. Since I am a heavy user of my phone and have a hectic schedule, I could never find the time to take the phone to a service centre.

2. In January, 2008, I found that the rubber panel that has the on/off button on top of the screen had started to peel off and realised that because of the overheating, the glue that kept this panel had expanded resulting in the panel peeling off. In fact, in the next few days, I lost the panel as it had peeled off again without my knowledge. At this juncture, I was concerned about the risk that I was running in using this phone any further. After calling your care line number to lodge a complaint, I was told by one of your service representatives that since E50 has an all metal body, there is a possibility of overheating taking place. I was advised to take my handset to a local Nokia care centre (Shakti Communications, Frazer Town, Bangalore).

3. I presented my handset to Shakti Communication in Bangalore (your authorised care centre) and explained the problem including the fact that the rubber panel had peeled off due to the overheating over a period of time. He did attest to the fact that some E50 handsets have an overheating problem and admitted my handset for repair although I was more keen on a full replacement as the handset was well within the warranty period. I was also told that the handset would be sent to Chennai and the rubber panel would be replaced there. The jobsheet issued to me was numbered[protected]/080130/44 and the ESN/IMEI number of my handset is [protected]. I was asked to check with the care centre in 14 days.

4. On February 13, I called the care centre and asked them about the status of the handset. To my delight, I was told that the handset had been repaired and was ready to be picked up. When I presented myself at the Care Centre, the handset was returned to me. To my surprise, I found that the rubber panel on top had not been replaced and no one at the care center had an explanation for it. I refused to take delivery of the handset as it is not possible to switch on the phone without the rubber panel. The care center then promised to call me once the panel had been replaced. On the same day, I decided to escalate the matter with the Nokia Careline on the phone. I was then told that the rubber panel that needs replacement is considered an accessory and the cost of replacement would be charged to me!! I requested the service representative to escalate the matter and talk to the service centre to get the replacement done and have my phone returned to me at the earliest. She said she cannot do this unless I go physically to the care centre again and give her a call from there to connect her with the service centre personnel so that she could resolve this for me.

5. This morning, I called your careline once more on the phone to escalate the matter again and to my surprise the careline has no record of my complaint that I first lodged with them and the escalation on February 13. The service representative, this time, gave me a reference no. (2-2U63E1) and has promised to respond to me within the next 48 hours with a resolution.

In the meanwhile, I am yet to hear from Shakti Communication about the status of my phone.

What surprises me the most is the fact that in my case, Nokia is more interested in telling me that they will charge me for replacement of the rubber panel rather than admitting that they sold me a faulty phone that overheats and could have caused me bodily harm. Moreover, calling a rubber panel without which the phone cannot be switched on, an accessory and the unwillingness to accept the fact that due to overheating any adhesive and rubberised material will expand and peel off is a huge suprise to me. On top of that, the service center personnel went to the extent of insinuating that I might have inflicted damage to the phone resulting in the rubber panel peeling off was worse than adding insult to injury.

If you call yourself the largest and the best mobile phone handset manufacturer in the world, you would do well to serve your customers better than the treatment that I have received.

Hi I have new Nokia 5610 Mobile. Unfortunately its not working now as it fell into water. One of the service center persons had onvestigated the phone and has told that, the phone is now useless. One of the circuit inside the phone has blown off.
Is there any way to fix or replace the circuit. If so, please let me know how and from where.

i baught nokia1650 on 7th may 2008 at adarsh mobile show room, chikadpalle, hyderabad. on 11th may it gave me problem that is power is not swithching on.i went to nokiacare on 12th.the address of nokiacare is "navdeep mobiles, shop1-1-188/1, 1st floor, beside sudharshan theater, rtc X" road, hyderabad.

they took my phone and gave me on 13th may. again on the same day it gave me the same problem and the phone was not accepting the sim that is displaying "insert sim".they took my phone and told me that it was not possible to repair by them and they would send it to company.they asked me to come after one week. on 21st i collected my phone. on the same day it gave me the same phoblem. they took my phone on the same day and again told me that they will send it to company. again i collected my phone on 31st may. again it gave me the same problem. they again took my phone and told me that it is switch board problem(manufactured problem).i already gave complaint to nokia through email. i asked nokiacare to recommend for replacement. they took my phone. i went to nokiacare on 14th june.they told me that nokia didnot replace the phone and they are giving the new phone. but, i have doubt about that phone . that is that phone is new phone or not.

actually i suffered a lot of mental tension due to this problem. they did not respond me well. but, if the phone is new one then i will try to manage my sufferings. but, people will loose faith in nokia because of this type of things. i request you to enquire into this problem and if there is any fake on behalf of nokiacare try to take action on them. if the phone is not new one please inform me. because i can ask them for a new one.

    Dear Sir,
    i gave my nokia 7710 for repair as it was not starting, at nokia care preet vhar new delhi. they upgraded software and it got started. when i came home found that it had network problem created from nokia care side.i again gave it to repair.when again i went after 15 days to take it, i found that keypad is missing &they told that its from their noida office.again they asked me to come after few days. wheni got my cell i found that they have placed keypad but it is not working.i finally decided not to give it to repair again, and took it with me.
    its been more that 1 & half month i gave my cell to repair for not starting when i got it finally after goin for 6 times, it had several problems creted from nokia care's side.they just upgraded software & in return following were problem created by them.these are...
    1. network problem
    2. sound of speakers deteroid.
    3. vibrator not working.
    4. keypad not working.
    Earlier these problems were not there when i gave it for repair(it was not starting).
    i have complain the manager of nokia care also i mailed nokia website but no response from them.
    i am harrassed by their poor service as when i gave cell for repair(itwas not starting) they upgraded software but in return the above 4 problems they created & i had to go there 6 times, my time & money is wasted &also my cell is not in goo orking condition.please help me for that.

    Nokia — Hs-28 Headset not replaced by the company

    nokia cell-6030 — i haven't got the replaced battery

    Nokia 6270 — Date Time Not working, Noise while attending calls, speaker is not working properly

    Nokia 6270 is an awsome mobile with high clarity camera and great music, but once problem comes even the nokia service centre is not helping to solve. I got this mobile 1 1/2 years before till last 1 year free service was there so anyhow even the specified problems was not solved they updated the recent versions of software. But now lot of problems coming out, It happened when i tried to work this in US. Now date and time is not working properly because of that i'm able to get the call timings,missed call timings, alarms etc. Sound is becoming weird with lot of noise in between was nt that effective like how i felt when i bought this piece.

    Panel is so worst- Within 3 months i lost the key pad designs and upper coating , now its like sceleton. Colors are slowly changing in the panel too. Please help me out.

    Nokia Care — Poor Incompetent service

    Sir,

    I have given my Nokia 6260 phone with display problems for servicing on 19th Nov 2007. The phone was returned on 7th dec 2007 with a bill charging Rs 711.00 on account of Flex replacement. But the issue was not resolved. I returned the phone to the Nokia care unit for re servicing. The handset was returned to me the very next day. Still the issue persists. Is this kind of incompetent poor service expected from a company like Nokia. Henceforth I would advice people not to take any Nokia set which choosing for a new phone.     Dear Sir,
    I am a customer of your company from the last three years. Recently I bought a Nokia Handset N73 (Music Addition) through internet from times shoping. The bill i got was from MANOJ ELECTRICAL AND GENERAL STORES, A/5, Sumer Nagar, Opp. Kora Kendra, S. V. Road, Borivali (west), Mumbai - 400092. Now the problem was the charger was not ok. I went to Nokia Care situated at sector 35 quite office but the manager over there behaved very rudely. Firstly he told me that this is the not charger which comes along with the set. When i told him that this is the same charger, he told me that the bill is not right. When i asked him to register me and give me every thing in written he refused to do so. He told me that not to waste his and my time and to leave the office. Is this for NOKIA CARE has been set up? I just want to know that, Is this the way customers are treated at NOKIA CARE?. CHARGER is not a issue, but when my handset which is as per bill date was purchased on 27/11/07 is under warrenty why my charger was not replaced and why i was not regestered at your NOKIA CARE. Please reply as soon as possible.

    nokia 6670 bl 5c battery — return of bl 5c battery

    The postal department is not accepting the speed post packet sent for returing the battery. Please intimate to us the speed post centres authorized to receive the same and issue a recipt for the same. The post offices ( mayapuri ,janakpuri and rajouri graden are not issuing any recipt)

    Nokia cell phone 1110 i model — call not able to attend, audio not working

    My nokia cell phone 1110i model within one year warranty period was not working, call not able to pick up, audio not working. But the nokia care service centre told that it is out of warranty from 19/01/08 instead of 21/02/08, it is really a cheating by nokia care, pathetic response, now i have realised that why i bought this, that too for a corporate customer like ford this has happened,

    Nokia — Mobile not repaired for past 16 days

    I had given my mobile (Model 7610) on 11.01.2008 vide job sheet No [protected]. The company put me on priority customer category. My likely date of returning the set was 14l.012008 16.00. It is regretted to point out that in spite of visiting your service centre, I am yet to get my phone after necessary repairs i.e. on 28.1.2008. Even your helpline nos. are not responding/feeding back any repair status as these are either engaged or nobody picks up the phones.

    Nokia 3110 Classic — Keys were not working properly and not detecting the sim card.

    I have purchased NOKIA 3110 Classic,

    I gave it for service in Gurgaon as keys are not working properly, i got the mobile back on same day, on that evening when I went home I found that problem is still present.

    After some days I gave it in Andheri(e) branch for service on the same problem, but after hell no of phone calls and talks with them I got my cell back after 8 days. When I took it home, at that night it was giving some SIM related message, I thought it is becos there was no signal. I am getting it frequently, and on one fine day, it is saying that there is no SIM card. and it is not switching on.

    Once again iam telling the same that this is your technical Problem only ,i can prove the same.

    once iam trying from airtel to airtel,the problem (different sound while ringing) is coming.
    then connecting to speaker mode and after that you are coming to normal mode the problem is not coming.
    But airtel to other mobile service ,the problem is not coming .Please you will try the same,then you will come
    to know what iam telling.

    this is not airtel Problem ,its your product problem .now a-days this type of Problems
    occuring regularly in this model .you have do necessary action against these Problems.

    Nokia 5610 Exp.Edition — Battery problem.

    Dear Reader,
    I'v purchased a brand new Nokia 5610 on 05/01/2008 in Bangalore from Auth Nokia Seller- HomeTown. But badly I'm facing poor battery problem from the day one. And also not even use for 1 day wihout charging. Battery get dried within one day, so I gave it for replacement to Nokia Care @ Marathahalli, Blr.But I was facing the same problem even after getting replacemenet(waited 1 month. Again I've reported this problem and they've taken back for Charging IC replacement. but I'm helpless and still facing the problem. So for I've given my mobile twice for this, but not rectified. It was a brand new mobile and new model..but not able to enjoy. Almost 45 days

    I'm running behind the care center but no solution. Pls look into this issue and do the needful thing.I'm totally frustrated and looking for replacement atleast this time with proper fixing or replacement with proof.

    My COMPLAINT
    I write this complemt for all nokia 3110c Subscribers.nokia 3110 c is not a good set.becouse it allways reboot.I re- softare it many times within 3 months at Nokia care as per their instruction.It is not only a problem faced by me but also all the customers of nokia 3110c. when I complaint about it I saw many people suffering the same Problem, some of their blue tooth has not working. Executives of nokia care said that, It is a Virus Problem, and the same time they told Nokia 3110c has no softaware support(Virus is a software), then how it happens?So Please consult the problem, and take immediate action.Dont shatterd our trust in NOKIA and dont try yours expiriments on people.

    i have some problem in model nokia 6670 as by virus or other infected file my mobile software was blocked, when i start my mobile at front only written nokia and stop and not working
    yes.. i bought nokia 5610 from hotspot in hrbr layout, kalyan nagar, bangalore... i am facing the same issue.. the battery backup is very poor. not even one full day for me.. i dont know what to do.. i have spent more than 11 thousand on this.
    my set nokia n70 is showing a software problem from the time i brought it ie from december 2007.while talking through the phone its loudspeaker, music player is activated of its own.and i went to nokia care atleast 7-8 times and they are telling me to wait till a new a software is developed. i bought the mobile not to wait . either nokia should replace my mobile or should give the money back.i trusted nokia mobile and this is wat is happening with me .i hope you will see to it and will take necessary steps soon

    NOKIA/ hands free — hands free out of order

    Dear sir,
    I am from Trivandrum & have some problem in nokia model N73 music edition.
    My IMH no: [protected] & purchased on 18/10/2007. Till that time the mobile is showing complains & I will discribe below.
    1. Camera out of focus,
    2. camera Button complained
    a) Then I sent it to Nokia Care & they sent it to Erenakulam & it return back after 3 weeks with zero complains. After 2 days later these complains come up.
    b) Then I give back to nokia care. after 3 weeks later it returns as only button 5 working with navigation keys.
    c)Then I give back to nokia care. After 1 weeks It returns as button 1 & 4 with navigation keys not working.
    d)Then I give back to nokia care. after 1 weeks it returns as all working.
    e)After 1 month later the phone got complains as
    1) Switchess Off
    2) Hanging
    3) Camera not Working
    4) No Ringtones
    I bought it on oct 2007, and I had used only 3 months max:, all the other time it's on Nokia Care.
    For the last 6 months this is the 5th time it goes to Nokia care so How can I trust using this phone after all the complains had rectified. So please replace the phone so that i can use it further.
    Please do so as soon as possible.

    This is deepak Agrawal and I am writing this mail on behalf of my sister Ms. Monika Agrawal. I have purchased one Nokia 2630 on 29th Feb 2008 from jaipur. I believe on nokia blindly with their services and robustness. But just after one month, the handset started giving troubles. Its key was not working properly and gradually it stoped working. I approach to the nearest service center that is at Nokia care, shop no 19-20 Opposite Laxmi Mandir Tonk Road Jaipur on 12/04/2008. against job order no. 12/64

    Till date (i.e. around after a 15 days) neither I got my handset back nor I got any satisfactory answer from service center. Several time I called there but they did not receive my call, I am not at all expect this type of services in current totally service oriented era. Being a word class company please look into the matter. And do the needful as early as possible. So that I can remain my faith in your company.

    I purchased Nokia N72 model in the market of Samastipur from sunrise mobile in the month of september.
    since the then time the mobile set is having head phone problems. for that i have requested the shopkeeper to replace or repair the head phone but unfortunately atlest 30 repeatidly visits to the shop, i always have been assured for the next time for the same. now i am fedup with that situation. So now i am going to the local police station to register an FIR against the Nokia Care Samastipur for i have no way to spare my problem for the last six month i have been under going attremondous pressure exorted by Nokia Care samastiput that is authorised service centre of Nokia Pvt.     I gave my mobile ( NOKIA 3230 )for repairing in nokia center ( N.R.I.COMMUNICATION Lagpat nagar Delhi ) on 23rd April & my job no. is 796 .to change the lcd .and they change lcd and update the software.when i came home found that it had incomming voice is very slow.now he says will chk and get back to u.after 16 days there is no any phone calls or any problem solution and i have visited so many time in nokia center but till date the problem is still pending .always i call in N.R.I. Communication .represent says ur mobile is ok but at the of delivery the problem is same.

    World largest mobile company Nokia is not able to shourt out any problem in 16 days ? .

    World largest mobile company Nokia have not expert techinical staff to find out the problem/solution. ?

    Nokia 6300 — Malfunction handset and since 01 month no solution

    I had purchased Nokia 6300 model in Nov 07. The set got faulty (switching off on its own) in the month of April 08 and hence I deposited the set at Nokia Care.
    Again another problem of weak Network (no or very weak signal) was observed and hence I visited Nokia care. The staff asked me to handover the handset for 01 hr. without opening the jobsheet, to which I did not agreed. Then I visited Nokia Care Noida and requested to replace the phone as the set had different types of problems. Technicians/manager/staff told me that it will be rectified.

    I deposited the phone on 26/04/08 and was informed on 02/05/08 that the set has been rectified. When I visited care center and inserted the SIM there was no network (also observed by the manager). That means the set was still faulty and I was told that it has been rectified (just an eyewash). The manager accepted that the set is faulty and will be replaced.

    As per jobsheet the replaced set was to be returned to me on 02/05/08. On 02/05/08 when I called, it was informed that the set will be given latest by 07/05/08. Again on enquiry on 07/05/06 it was told 08/05/06. Till date no confirmation on date has been received. The been started 01 month back and after more than a month still no solution.
    I have been without my phone since last 01 month and still I don’t know when I will get it back.

    This is the worst service I have ever seen from such reputed service center.

    Today ( 10th May 2008) I went to the Nokia Customer Care, Samastipur which is the authorized service center of Nokia India Pvt. Ltd. to change the battery of my mobile set. My mobile set was not receiving any new data. The computer operator of the Nokia Service Center, Samastipur formatted the entire data saved and stored in my mobile set without any prior knowledge of mine. Without any information that he was going to format the data in my mobile set, he formatted the same in place of changing the battery. For your kind information I would like to say that all the data which were stored in my set were very important for me and for my organization. This has resulted in to a great loss to me as by the time, I feel a grate difficulty to have conversation with my counter parts and my honorable seniors. So I am badly socked at by this very evil act of the computer operator at the Nokia Service Centre at Samastipur. I am in a grate depression after the incidence and misconduct by the computer operator. He even didn’t consider my arguments and formatted the memory of my mobile set (Nokia 6600). Unfortunately he also denied to give any receipt to me in the regard of that matter saying that he would do the same whatsoever he liked.
    Please solve my problem as soon as possible because I am in a dire need of that.

    Nokia India Private Limited N 73 mobile — Totally faulty set

    I had the misfortune to buy a Nokia N 73 mobile phone for their authorised dealer in Ranchi. My ordeal began soon after I purchased the set and the set started hanging every alternate day. I have taken the phone to the service center innumerable times but to no avail. In the process the phone was with the company in several spells for months. Their Nokia Careline is absolutely hopeless and insults and misbehaves with consumers who have the misfortune to get in touch with them. Ultimately I have filed a case against the company in the District Consumer Forum and they have been issued a notice. I will advise anyone intending to purchase a mobile never to purchase a Nokia set. They are absolutely horrible.

I gave it Nokia care, they updated software, but still there is problem i.e. Automatic switched off, key 8, 6 & joystick in upward direction is not being activated.

    Your representative told me to submit my mobile, they will send it to their head office for repairing & after 15 - 20 days, I will get my phone.

    Nokia — Repair of new Nokia 1650

    Dear Sir/Madam

    I would like to draw your attention to the following :

    1. I bought a Nokia 1650 Black set on 10 Feb 2008, invoice no. BB/804 dated 10.2.2008 for a sum of Rs. 2, 250/-. My warranty period of 6 months expires on 9th August, 2008.
    2. On 20th May, 2008 the set began to display the ‘battery is low’ signal after which the set refused to switch on even after recharging.
    3. I reported the problem on 21/5/2008 and handed over my set for repair to the Nokia Care Centre at Anand International, 233 D.H.Road, Kolkata 700034. Job Sheet Number is[protected]/080521/10 dt. 21-May-2008, time 10:26 am.
    4. No liquid damage or misuse/ wrong-handling of the set was diagnosed by them.
    5. The set was returned on the same day but I had to give it back for repair because it still was not working.
    6. Twice I was called by the repair centre for delivery of my set but it could not be handed over to me each time as it was still not working. According to Anand International, the set had also been sent to the Head Office for repair.
    7. The set has not been returned to me till date because they have still not been able to repair it.

    I have bought a Nokia set with the expectation of getting good value for my money; it is apparently such a big company. However, the performance of the product and the performance of the Nokia Care centres leave much to be desired.
    I have already suffered for nearly a month without a set and repair does not seem likely in the near future. Also, I do not understand why I should have to settle for a repaired set after using a new set for only 3 months when your service centre has admitted that I have not damaged the set through misuse.

    I expect an immediate reply to this complaint from your end highlighting what steps Nokia intends to take to sort out the above issues barring which I shall feel compelled to take the matter to the Consumers’ Forum.

    My brother had purchased nokia 1200. after one month the set started malfunctioning for which i contected the Jind Nokia Care on 04/06/2008 and they promised me to return the set on 09/06/08, I was shocked to see the attitude of the whole staff which was very very uncoperative and harrassing and detrimental for the reputation of comapny like Nokia. that is not all after much altercation and several visits today on 19/06/2008 they have returned me the set. and i ahve seen them charging for the services which i feel are given for free by the Nokia care. I request you to take a stern action against jind nokia care to save nokia co's reputation and the customer friendly culture for which nokia is known.

    I gave my nokia N-72 (Serial No.[protected]) for repair as it was not working properly, at nokia care (Dealer:Tikam Infinity )Vashant Kunj delhi. They claimed there is a liquid damage and after liquid instrument will not be in under warranty. So they charged me Rs.716 for the repair and small parts replacement, also upgraded software and it got started. When I came home found that it had same problem again gave it to repair. when again i went after 2 to 3 days to take it, and I am not satisfied their service

    They are not taking proper responsibility to repair the hand set properly. I don’t have that kind of time to visit the shop again and again.

    dear nokia i am using nokia mobile from the day i started using mobile. after changing to new nokia 6300 i am realy disapponited from nokia mobiles as well as ur service centers. i have purchased this mobile in 10 th of nov 2007 and since than this set was with me only for three months till date that is jul 2008. i just want to bring out in light that this mobile set was with u for more time than me. therefore it is making difficult to understand whether this mobile belongs to you or me.
    earlier IME NO of my set was. [protected] which was replaced by new set whose IME NO WAS [protected]. after replacement of first set second set also became unservisable within a week. again complaint was logged and mobile was replaced with another set IME NO. [protected] and i m really sorry to say that condition of that set was as if it is two three yeras old, any one afterlook at that set could make out that nokia is making fun of there coustermors and not paying good attention to there problems
    and NOW I HAVE LEFT WITH NO OPTION OTHER THAN GOING TO CONSUMER COURT.
    IN my experience, 6300 is a great phone, if it is treated well. Certain care should be given, such as avoiding moisture, daily cleaning, and avoiding the handset from falling off your hands.

    In my experience in India, the story that you narrated above is the same for nearly every thing, apart from mobiles, too, and it is necessary that the senior authorities should perform sting checks in their own enterprises to ensure clean functioning and complete satisfaction.
    My father experienced a hanging-faulty due to entrance of moisture in his 6233 phone(similar phone?) and he got the phone completely serviced for free of cost (warranty limits) and he is not experiencing any problems since last 5 months. But this is in Dubai!

    Nokia — Headset not getting replaced

    This was my 4th repeated complaint of my mobile make nokia model 5310 they gave me target date15/08/08 job sheet#[protected]/080715/1 and esn/imei# [protected] battery bl-4ct 670565. on 10/08/08 I recieved a call from service center that my set is ok and i can take my hand set but i found that there was no battery in set they told me that my battery will come by evening as it was left behind in there main service center in delhi and told me to collect battery by evening.This a kind of service they are providing i have not recieved till today i:e:12/08/08 my mobile and battery and the attitude of these service center employees pathetic. i will not suggest any of my relaitions to buy nokia . no senior persons from nokia are checking these service centers.

    Nokia N73M — display

    i have purchase my nokia phone at 1month ago.
    and the problem is the display is blinking or the light is not continues.
    i am a victim of fraud case by the nokia service center bikaner (rajsthan).
    then plese solve my problem.
    Dear Sir,

    I own one of Nokia's premium handsets N95 and recenty i developed faults in it.The mobile was purchased by me on 25th Dec 2007 so it is well within nokia's one year warranty!

    Now the problems are that my screen display is not coming and the speakers are not working fine!I contacted the nearest Nokia Care(Nokia authorised showrooms) and they inspected my phone.

    To my surprise there was a cable(more of a contact strip) inside the slider that is inside the phone that was broken! and i was informed that the physical damages dont come under the warranty, only ting i failed to understand is how can a cable inside the phone be charged on the user for breakage when they very well know that I ve not opened the phone( I m not capable of it)?Asked, the persons are not able to satisfy my concern and just restate the same thing again and again that " Physical damgages are not covered in warranty", they ended up charging me Rs1500 for it and this is just the estimate they say.(Documentary proof in form of their own JOB SHEET of above can be produced). moreover they also siad that because this problem was considered as out of warranty case the other problem with the handset i.e the speakers would also have to be pooled in it whilst they concern a problem well within warranty cover.

    Sir, I am just amazed as to how we can be cheated in form of consumers! I dont stand agaisnt nokia's warranty conditions but how can they include things which are not valid into a section which they please, i fail to understand.

    I thus seek your help in this issue as I have tried talking and reasoning evrything but nothing seemed to work.

    i have a serious complain against nokia care. i have given my cell 6500 slide atleast more than 4-5 times.according to me they just take the mobile and keep it and say us that there is a serious problem with ur cell...it needs to be sent to the mumbai head office...i agree that my cell phone gets hang every now n then...they told me not to use gb card i, respected there sayings n i have not used my gb card from one month...another case is i had purchased my cell hardly 3 months back...they told me 6 months warranty...frankly my cell phone is been kept in nokia center for atleast one and the half month...i have hardly used that celll...

    and i seroiusly feel that the attitude of the employees gets into the nerve...they care a damn...they dont know how to handle the customers...

    whenevr u call them they will not answer ur calls...or they will just keep the phone...

They have promised to give us mobile within 10days but till date we have not received the mobile from them.     NOKIA N-71 — poor service

    i have nokia n-71 which has a problem that it's camera is not working and time to the memory card is not detected ..i had referred my problem to the nokia care in lower parel mumbai. but they refused to fix it saying the product's production has been stoped.

    now i am forced to lodge a complaint against the company in consumer court

    NOKIA E 61 — Handset gone for repair from last one month

    I based in Sambalpur (ORISSA) i buy Nokia E 61 from NOKIA PRIORITY DEALER before few months. and after using some month i found that the cell switched off automatically during talking. so i complain them and they replace the handset and gave me after 45 dayz.after using the new phone the same problem found in that too.so again i complain them and they sent for repairing to Kolkatta on 21st August 2008 under job sheet no.[protected]/080821/69 of NOKIA CARE but till yet i haven't recived any positive feed back from them. they assured me that due to i am facing the problem since buying the phone so they will take my case in urgent basis and they will return me within 15 dayz but already 1month passed and they are saying me that the phone is under repairing.so i can't understand that what is use of buying costly phone from one reputated company if there service is so poor.so i request you to please suggest me something to get the phone.Now i want that they should provide me to buy one new model(because no faith left on that model E61) of my choice and whatever the difference will come i am ready to pay that. because this is very difficult for me to adjust without handset for so many dayz.so i request you to take some action on this.

    Nokia — Poor Loudspeaker on E71

    Hello,
    I recently purchased a brand new Nokia E71 costing Rs 20000...
    During call, when I switch on the Loud Speaker, the audio output is very low (even on Max)... as compared to my earlier phones like N72 or N70 (NON Music Editions).
    When I called up Nokia, as per their advice I went to Nokia Care but they also said that its Okay and The max sound is as per the product specifications...
    This is not done... the volume is too low...
    It should be checked at Nokia for Quality as well...

    Nokia /E71 — Not honouring warranty

    Dear Sir,

    I purchased a Nokia E71 phone about 2 months back. One month into my purchase, the LCD screen conked off for no apparent reason. I have contacted all the Nokia care centers in Bangalore (where I live), but none of them seem to have the screen replacement part, nor are they giving guidance on when the part will be available.

    I have also requested them to replace the phone under warranty, but the sales center directs me to support care centers and vice-versa, basically giving me the run-around.

    I am basically fed up with following up with these guys week after week for resolution to the issue.

    Please help me get a resolution to this matter in a speedy manner. Requesting you to do the needful.

    Nokia E51 — return mobile in bad Condition

    i submit my phone(NOKIA E 51) to HCL nokia care .
    they return my phone next day with a great problem .
    It cant Sttart proprly and always stand in Menu mode and RED key can't press properly .

    NOKIA 5310 — Cell phone not returned after service

    I bought a nokia 5310 in june. In august suddenly me cell switched off and when i switched it on, there was no display. I sent my cell for servicing at the nokia cust. care. I received my cell after 1 week. However, again after 3 weeks there was a problem with display. It's been 2 weeks and still they have postponed the delivery of my cell by one week. They are not picking up the phone any longer. Please help me getting my cell back

    Nokia N 72 — OTHER PERSON WAS NOT ABLE 2 LISTEN

    I purchased N72 in november 07. recently display damaged. i given to Nokia care for new display replacement. after taken i found bluetooth option not working. recently it swithched off. i given for service. They reply this will not under warranty & charged 1200/- for service eventhrough bluetooth not working. again asking again gave another job sheet taken for service.     Nokia E51 — reg. delay in providing service and poor service

    i have submited E-51 hand set on[protected] at balaji Nokiacare centr at gulbaga (karnataka state), while submiting theysaid it will take 15 days to come as this is beibg send to higher care center b'lore for repairs, when i din't receive the same even ahter that i reg a complaint with nocia care number[protected] and then they gave me one complaint number 2-3EMR55 dated 6.10.2008, since from that day onwords on each day i am calling to nokia care callcentre for the results but so for i have not received the my repaire/replaced E-51 set, i brought this perticular set for it bisness futhers but, nokia is providing a very poor service, aas a result still i have not received even an stand by set for my use.

    its has been sent to the call center gulbarga last 20 days back without its repair, this shows that the negligence on part of nokia care. Now they say that this is not repaired and we don't know why it has not repaied such a irresponsible answers we are hearing from the nokia care centre.

    please do the needful for rectifying such serious issues so that, your nokia brand name should servive in the india market.

    please at leat now onwords, improve your service in the intrest of customer.

      I Have Purchsed the Nokia Handset 6030 from Vikhroli. I been using the same for 9 months and suddenly I started getting Message "SIM CARD REJECTED" after keeping phone idel for half and hr or so. I took the Mobile to Ghatkopar Nokia Care center twice and they tried reparing it. but the problem remians unsolved. and I feel Nokia should give me the replacement to this phone as this is still under warranty.

        i am using nokia 3110c for around 7 t0 8 months .
        For the first few months it worked fine . Then i triend to download the operator logo. form that day it all started
        . almost every month i go to nokia care . they reinstall the software and it start to work fine . after a week or so, i face the same problem . and it all happen again . its like a never ending circle. i think nokia has just started ignoring the problems . they just want to earn money.
        i m havin d sam prob of restarting but i recover from dat prob by installing a new version v06.60
        any time it affecting from virus... it don't have any anti viruses...

          Pathetic Services to customers of Nokia

          I brought Nokia 3500C Grey phone from The Mobile Store, Nanganallur on 8.1.2008. And from my phone I am not in a position to make and receive calls and it gives the message that Net work not working. I have given the instrument for service at Nokia care, Mount Road on 29.3.2008. They gave me the job sheet no.[protected] and
          Warranty Ref. No. APAINY[protected]. Today morning (3.4.2008) I enquired them about my instrument over phone, they are giving the reply that your instrument is not under warranty because of Liquid Log. We are using the instrument only at home and there is no chance of Liquid Log or any other physical damage.

          My query is that if it is justified that if there any 1 in 100's phone is a faulty phone from the beginning it self and the same cannot be replaced with a new handset...

          Where is the fault of the customer...who had put in their entire belief on the authenticity of the Nokia Product

          Can’t they accept their fault and get it replaced.

          I need your immediate response in this regard.

          Net went down and got disconnected and mobile got switched off
          When i gave it to repair they told the same thing your instrument is not under warranty because of Liquid Log.

          We had purchased a NOKIA 3500(Sr.Number [protected]) set arround 8 months back, now we are facing some problem ---NO DISPLAY on the screen . When we visited NOKIA customer care Gurgaon the attitude of reprensatative was not positive . There is silver strip fixed on the mobile through some glue/elfy type of material, there is not lock --no screw to fix that strip.If that strip comes out from the frame then this should not be physically demage phone if yes please let us know...
          1.The reprensatative sitting over there saying that its physically demage case which is not acceptable all though he/she has taken the mobile for repair/replacement .
          2.I think taking 25 days for a mobile for repair/replacement is too much...

            Nokia N91 — Technical Problem

            Hi,

            Myself is having Nokia N91 Mobile which was purchased just before 18 Months.It is frequently having following problems.

            1. Hanging
            2. Restart
            3. Outgoing Voice Problem
            4. hard Disk Crash

            It was sent to Company twice for 7 and 15 days but still thing are the same.Neither company nor dealer is ready to take responsibility for this. I requested to replace my mobile but they did not respond. Now only one option is there to take legal action against the Company for getting new replaced mobile.

            dear sir, I purchased my Nokia 91 about one and half year before and after one month the set started hanging and and every time I had to remove the battery and from past four months the snaps and vedios taken do not go the gallery. I have handed over the set thrice to the Nokia care (UG/A-12 SOM DUTT PLAZA KANPUR) under the period of waranty.Last time same problem occured and I have again handed over my phone to executive.I have been asked for Rs.16000 after long discussion it has been reduced to Rs.1400 (date-28.06.08)which bill number is 18236.But very sorry to say same problem is standing before me.Key pad is not working, main menu key is not working.I am unable to open my main menu.Hanging, headphone, mega headphone all have been damaged within 7months.But due to your policy to not to change after six month.It has been accepted.But as far as handset is concern I have given thrice and same problem occures repeteadly.
            The phone also hangs. Since we have purchased the phone at a very dear price, we expect full value for our money and ask you to replace the set at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted.

              Dear Sir,
              I procured this Nokia set during June 2007 from an authorised dealer in Shimoga city, Karnataka, India. My Nokia No. is [protected]. Since a fortnight its volume/zoom switch is not working, when contacted the Nokia care at shimoga city, he is telling that switch is defective and might have happened due to physical damage.

              It is surprising that there can be a physical damage when I am operating this cell with so much care, as I have paid a very dear price for it. The switch is defective and is a manufacturing defect. Hence I request you kindly to look into the matter and arrange to replace the instrument.

              SWITCHES OFF AND ON AUTOMATICALLY WHILE IN ACTIVE AND STANDY BY MODE, WITH OUT BEING SWITCHES OFF AND ON MANUALLY.PLS GIVE SOME TECHNICAL SUPPORT REGARDING THIS COMPLAINT.AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
              The same thing happened to my phone.. I can turn up the volume but not down.. it sucks. I am looking for a replacement part or figure out a way to fix it myself

              I have the exact same problem try restoring the device to factory defaults although you may delete personal data.

                Dear Sir,
                I have purchase new mob NOKIA model 6233 on 06/02/2008.from PATAN (GUJARAT)
                mobile automatically power off on 06/03/2008.
                then i submit it to Nokia care patan on same day and they return me and told me that it is not possible to repair here and they return me my mobile same day.
                next day when i open nokia site and fill this jobsheet no and they write their status that mobile was repaired and back to customer which is wrong.
                then after i submit my mobile to NOKIA care ahmedabad on 12/03/08 and they give me date for repairing is 16/03/08 but till date i am waiting for my mob.MYJOBSHEET NO[protected]/080312/14 and my Complaint no made at banglore nokia care is 2-2WISH9.

                  i have given my nokia n73 m to the nokia priority shop on 11th oct 2008 to get repaired. the major problem what i was facing that time is the processing of my mobile is extreamly low. the nokia care took approx. 1 month time to return me back my mobile. but now the case is worst. the processing of the mobile is even much slow. i am not getting the fact that whether nokia people just kept the mobile with them and they handed over me my phone with out even repairing this.
                  i am hereby requesting you to kindly see into this matter as the warrenty of this mobile will be over till the end of dec.

                  Nokia N73 is generally slow, but try updating the firmware by using nokia software updater.

                  there are a few steps that youll can take to make it faster without any software or hardware. just take 2 minutes everyday thast all.I have been doing this myself for everytime

                  i have been using my n73 me for the past 3 years and have found it to be be very good.

                  1.MESSAGES All messages should go to your phone memory therefore messaging>options>settings>other>memory in use>select memory card

                  2.MUSIC PLAYER exit everything and go to standby mode...press menu for 2 seconds button until applications open on top left corner.>select music player>options>exit (do this everytime you not listenin to music) because *music player runs in your background*

                  3.CALLS exit everything and go to standby mode
                  press call (green button)>options>clear list>clear all numbers>yes ( do for missed calls and received calls also...clear the list)

                  4.NETWORK Menu>tools>settings>network>network mode > select GSM (dont put umts or dual mode as it drains battery)

                  5.DELETE LOG - menu>applications >log>scroll right till you can see blue and green arrows pointing up and down >options>clear log>exit


                  THERE YA GO... n 73 will work a little faster.pls comment if it helps youll

                    Today I have visited Nokia care Maa Communication B-36 guru nanak pura east Delhi, for repairing of my mobile that is on under warranty. When I entered that center I took my token number on time but I found that customer care employs are so untrained and they are giving more then 30 minutes to one customer first time I found so slow customer care server.

                    Second when they repaired my mobile suddenly power cut happened and they cat able to make job card because they don’t have generator after two and half hours I moved out and didn’t got my mobile because of bad service station of Nokia.

                    Really I never ever buy Nokia in my life or I want to say one thing to you one satisfied customer make one thousand satisfied customer but one unsatisfied makes one lakes.

                    i am pradhan.
                    i had given my phone of repair in a nokia care center. i had problem like no battery back up. so they asked me to get software update.. and i was done with that and i was charged 200Rs.
                    but still the problem persuaded. i went back i spoke to manager and he said like, yo have a circuit problem. he told me like it would fetch around 1200Rs and i asked him refund my 200Rs back, so he agreed. and asked me to wait for 10days to get my phone back... i waited for 26days. later i had been there to collect there i was made to wait for 2long hours. later they me the answer like it cant be repaired....
                    later i asked them this what you repaired my time and screwed up my time. so one of the customer care started busting at me.

                      Dear Sir,

                      My Self Anil Nair and I have a Nokia D211 Data Card and I need a driver for this card. I checked almost every Nokia Care Centre for this issue but no one helped me out. At last I called Nokia Helpline twice but no one helped me out regarding this issue they are saying that now we are not supporting for this model it get obsolete.
                      It means any Nokia model which is more than 2 yrs should throw it out from customer due to non support. This is going to be very bad impression for Nokia Organization in India.

                      Dear Sir!

                      Myself Divyank Sharma and I have a Nokia's handset NOKIA N72 which I had purchased in 2007.Now this handset shows a problem like after inserting SIM it gives the msgs SIM Card Not Valid.I went to my nearest registered NOKIA CARE situated in Aligarh as I live In Dibai.Aligarh is nearest to my place than others.Nokia care had taken my phone to solve my problem on 24 De. 2008 and still today it is failed to solve my problem.
                      during this period they called me three times to taken my set as it was repaired, but when I reached him they gives the excuses that we told other's phone, your phone still noit get repaired and they created a new problem in my handsetlike it gets restarts after fix times(2 minutes).

                      Dear Sir



                      I have purchased the above said mobile set from one of your priority dealer Mobily vide invoice No.3399 dtd 28/8/2008, the very next week I have approached them and complaint was informed “Low Battery”, they just took the handset inside and said “the mobile has got so many functions, so the low battery sign appears. So I switched off all other functions and used only incoming and outgoing calls facility. But again and again the same problem repeated with – car charger facility I managed to use the set. But by June 2009 the problem worsened, I have taken the set to your Nokia Care office in Pattom two times. First time they formatted the set and second time they formatted the memory card and when the problem repeated they decided to send the set to Delhi for repair. Now the set is being returned with remark “Unauthorized repair” that is what I have learned from the Nokia care office.



                      I swear that I haven’t taken the set to any workshop or persons or handed over to other persons for use or let the set anywhere unattended during the last one year of my use. In my family we have been using Nokia sets for last more than 5 years, my wife, son and daughter all are using Nokia and haven’t met any trouble so far. Even before purchasing this set I have used Nokia “n” series and other models. In this case I doubt the following:



                      1) The dealer (Mobily) shop has sold me a second had set (it’s a cheating with co-operation from Nokia people).

                      2) Your Nokia care center (Smart Care) has tampered the set while formatting.







                      Since the opening of the set 3600 is little difficult I have opened it only once or twice to replace the SIM. I haven’t taken back the set from Nokia care because I would like to register a complaint with Trivandrum consumer court against this very clear case of cheating by Nokia people.







                      I write this letter to you if possible to settle the matter without dragging to legal entanglement. I kindly request the set to be replaced or repair, hence the fault appeared during the warranty period.



                      Kindly replay urgently so that I may able to decide on further steps required.

                              i Mr. ARPAN AGRAWAL consumer of nokia mobile N-71, IMEI NO.-[protected] had purchased the above mentioned mobile handset from TIRUPATI CELLULAR ( Shop no-17, ashok vijay complex, 326 M.G road pune pin-411001) on 08/08/2006.
                              The problem that occured with this handset was of network coverage chip which was not working upto it's limit.the mobile was not able to detect the coverage area.The sim which i used was of airtel.As soon as this problem occured i had went to a nokia care centre at my nearby residing place in hadapsar.The Service centre details are as follows (Shop no. 4 & 5 Ravidarshan complex pune solapur road Hadapsar pune, ASC:382_434038 CONTACT NO.[protected].The above mentioned Service centre entertained me but can't rectify it completely when it was under the warranty period.It has been more than 7 months that these people did'nt return my handset.They had given me a call and said that your handset can't be rectified and take back the mobile.They had also said that the chip is not available all over india and hence the handset will be unable to locate the network.
                              Being an esteemed company this problem should never occur to any of the consumer.Now the handset is of worth ZERO rupees.I had also lodged a complaint to a consumer forum regarding this issue but still there was not a single reply from your so called esteemed company.This has been really frustating that after spending 19, 400/- rupees i am unable to use my cell for not even a year .It is high time that i should expect from you something which will favour me or else i have to take certain severe actions such as talking to the media persons as well as to the consumer forum.But still saying with 0.1% hope that you would do the needful

                                Sounds like a scam to me, I just received this email today 4/4/09 that I won Nokia online regional promo celebrating 142nd anniversary or something won a BMW, a nokia phone and $300, 000 says it was to promote nokia. NO WAY!! If they were going to give away this much money and gifts it would be highley advertised especially if it were to promote NOKIA, there has been no advertisement from the real Nokia of this what so ever! My mother always said if it sounds too good to be true it probably is! Anyone who asks for personal info who says to ONLY contact them about claiming winnings or asks for any type of money to collect your winnings is a FAKE. If I ever do get anything I am really unsure about I show my bank they can usually tell you if its a scam or they have seen any others comming in with the same great fortune! Good luck in future fortunes though!

                                    My name is saurav kaushik.i buy the nokia 5300 set from hotspot, metro plaza meerut. and after 2 days i am facing problem related to battery and slider loose .i went to nokia care centre and tell about my battery problem they replaced the battery but yet i am not getting full output of battery. and new slider loose problem also come in my set.i here by want to say to nokia higher authority to replace my set.

                                      I had brought a Mobile Nokia 6070 from Appasons Mobile Gallery, Kannur, Kerala on[protected] only because I had such a good impression on your reputed company.

                                      But since then my handset got repeated complaints (4 times). Every time I had contacted customer care they send the set to company and got it back by two weeks. This will causing problem for regular use of my phone.

                                      The last complaint noticed on[protected] again the same old procedure is happening.

                                      If this is the customer caring of your reputed company, I am thoroughly disappointed and I will raise this issue to various organisations like IMA, Lions Club etc., to know the truth about this to public.

                                        Nokia N 72 — LOSS OF PHONE

                                        I undersigned presently serving at FHQ BSF, New Delhi under MHA. I had purchased one Mobile Set Nokia N-72 black colour TIN No. [protected] IMEI No. – [protected] from Hotspots Retails Pvt. Ltld., D-60, Main Vikash Marg Laxmi Nagar, New Delhi vide their Bill/Invoice No.[protected] dtd 17/3/2008 for Rs.7, 880/-. On 1.4.2008 at about 2030 hrs when I was coming from Hapur to Ghaziabad (UP) by bus. Some body was picked up my mobile set Nokia N – 72. In this connection, I have lodged a complaint on 2-4-2008 at Police Station Kavinagar, Distt Ghaziabad, UP. I have already requested to Nokia care Center Bangalore on telephone No. [protected] for ceasing the functioning of above mobile set at about 012000 hrs but call attended by Miss Suhitra replied that no any facility is available in Nokia mobile set.

                                        2. Please intimate immediately if any facility is available for tracing out the mobile set or cease functioning.

                                        This is regarding my cell phone model no.N72 which is under warranty period and was submitted for repair at Guru Kirpa Gift House, Battan Lal Road, Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab . Pin 147301,

Each time they are giving a excuse. And told me every time u have to come next Wednesday or Thursday. I am losing my business coz of handset.
