Hello Friends,

I am happy that such portals exist for expressing your views on a product/ service.

I had purchased a Nokia phone 2255 a year back. It never gave me any problems till 12 month of the purchase. But in th e12th Month, it developed a serious automatic on off problem, the flap phone was not functionnong.

I decided to take the same to a customer care center in my area, was surprised to know that there was only one in Andheri for CDMA handsets. I was made to wait for 2 hrs. They opened my phone turned a few screws here and there and then said that its a level 2 problem and they cant touch the same,I would have to go to peninsula customer care repair center to repair the same.
when my turn came,was promptly instructed that the phone is out of warenty period and that they would charge me 1000 rs to touch the phone and 3000 to repair the same.
I called the customer care number and informed them of the issue, the lady told me that there is a 20 days extended warenty by default. Even though the same was communicated to the repair guy at the center, he did not address my complaint.

Since, I had purchased my phone from an authoirised Nokia priority dealer, yet was given a shabby treatment. I did feel cheated that for a factory defect., a consumer had to pay for the pain and undergo a agony .

My community has decided not to buy NOKIA products in future. So be carefull of buying them. I am not saying all this to discourage you form buying, but bring to your notice the pathetic service which may be in store for you also.
I have switched to a different brand and found the service nuch better and professional and customer friednly.

Dear Nokia,

I have purchaged a nokia 5700 phone and it got some problem. i visited to nokia care and submitted it on 21st jan for repairing. its 10days since i have given my phone to nokia care, center at noida sec-2. when i call to customer care they just reply that it is under replacement. neigther i have another handset nor nokia has provided one. Nokia has its own reputation, but it shows bad impression on its esteemed customers.

Its 23 days since i have given my hand free to nokia care center at JP Associates, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi 88 . when i call to customer care they just reply that it is under replacement. neigther i have another handfree nor nokia has provided one. Dear Madam/Sir,

I am very sorry to inform that I had purchased Nokia model 2630 in the month of De,07 Product Code is 0549379. After one month there was problem in my set as left side keys were not working. The set has gone for reparing in Lucknow care center on 24.01.08 vide job sheet no.[protected]/080124/25, the propblem was not rectified, again the set has gone for more than 15 days to customer care deptt. vide job sheet no.[protected]/080201/63 on 01.02.08, the set had come back with the o.k. report status, yesterday I had again given the set to your deptt. vide job sheet no.[protected]/080201/63 on 19.02.08. Sir please inform me out of two months time most of the time is with Customer Care what is fun to purchase this mobile, I had requested to replace the Set i do not know what the hell your techinical deptt. is doing and harassing the customer as well as wasting the valuable time of customer. If I contact to your Lucknow Head, everytime the boys are saying he is not available. Could U please tell me how my problem will be solved. Even I had registered my Complaint with your deptt. vide request no. 2-2 tahkd for replacement.

In the end, I request you to please exchange my set and send me the fresh set immediately without any further delay.

Nokia 3230 — Non performing Handset

Dear Sir

I purchased Nokia 3230 from Nishi Communications, Shahibaug, Ahmedabad on 05th May 2007. Right from the day one, i'm facing lots of problems Viz: Unable to receive calls, phone geting hanged up, autorestart of mobile & Camera is not working properly no clear photo.

Also I already have received replacement for my handest 2 times but problem is not resolved.

This my humble request to you to please provide another Nk handset of the same value of Nk 3230 or provide new fresh piece of Nk 3230.

Non receipt of response to my complaint will force me to take apropriate action in consumer forum.
Kindly resolve the issue on priority.

N-72 set to complaint received offical(female),she removed battery and sim card and kept set with her,told me that battery was not faulty,require to change Software hence i never asked memory card as may require to transfer data
After service of set ,found that no memory card inside Nokia-set
same informed to nokia officals,refused to memory card & told me that not received card without checking service center than i request to check inside,after some times told me that after searched they would contact but they never contacted me hence i contacted after two days on telephone & they refused told me same story &question as eariler
i had full confident that i had been given set along with memory card to them and was refused to give back

I am very sorry to inform that two months and half months have passed and my set is with Customer Care Deptt. and my problem has not been solved so far, I am very much fed up with the Nokia Company and its Customer Care Executives, they are just misguiding me, so many times I had spoken to the Executives, I had purchased the set in the month of Dec,07. Even I had written on this very sight earlier, it shows that nobody is worried about the Customer only they have just under the big banner of nokia made the CUSTOMER CARE DEPARTMENT.

Dear Sir,
I have Nokia 3230 handset in Jan 2007.
This set was having the problem od hanging & restarting,so I visited customer care in Gurgaon,they upgrade the software and returned back the set.After 1 week,I observed the same problem again.So I visited again & the same happens this time too.i visited Nokia care for 10-12 times & finally ,they replaced the set in August 2007.And the set working well for 4-5 months.
But now after 4-5 months,this set also hangs & restarts,so I visited Nokia care on 12 Jan 08,they upgrade the set and I think they might be some problem and I ignored it and think to see it in trial withoput using Memory Card,Bluetooth etc and only use the set in calls nothing else.
But after 10-15 days I seen the problem again and now I am shocked what to do.I talked to nokia care,they suggest me to go once again.Hence I visited again Nokia care on 23 feb 2008 and they do the same.And now I am facing the same problem.
And again they are asking me to submit the set.But I am really fed up of visiting Nokia care.Please let me know what should I do to solve the problem.Now I am thinking to through the set away because I can not visit again & again to waste my time.

they told me your cell is temperd. but the cell is only open by nokia person it self,

Nokia — Nokia customer service is pathetic

I had bought Nokia 5310 on Jan 08 & from day 1 it had problems in GPRS functionality.

As per my discussions with nokia executives on[protected] i had submitted my handset twice to mumbai nokia service centre in lower parel & provided them with the job nos.
Copmplaint nos provided to me by your phone executives are
1. 2-2UKOSR (23 Feb 08)
2. 2-2WAN9F (15 Mar 08)

I was assured that my problems in phone will be resolved which never happened even after replacing the handset.
Also when i asked for senior executives of Nokia Care line, none were available & no one ared to call back.

I have to constantly do a follow up by calling bangalore number which on an average takes 10-15 mins std call.
Think i mite have already spent above 500 bucks just calling nokia call centre.

2 months since the complaint made, nokia care is asking me to again submit my handset to their service centre & again follow the process which has been already done twice.

Sorry to say but this is my worst experience of customer service of my life.

Nokia 6300 — Pathetic response from Nokia Priority shop

I had bought Nokia 6300 in Feb 2008. The shop is Nokia priority store in Borivili (West), Mumbai. The shop is opposite to Indraprastha Mall. There seemed like a battery problem since I started using it as it used to get heated very quickly also battery used to get drained immediately within 1 hours o[censored]sage. To check about this I went back to the same Nokia Priority store where I got highly pathetic response . The guys and especially the lady over there had been too arrogant and careless about even understanding what the issue was and simply were ignorant. The lady supposedly being boss of them had been mannerless to cater to the customer query. Their behaviour was unprofessional and such kind of staff was not expected at Nokia priority dealers. Is there any one who really filters at these levels as this particular dealer staff misbehave without having any single thought or concern about anyone could really question the quality of service they are giving. The guys are behaving as if they are selling vegetables over there and it is highly disappointing experience of having bought the mobile from this particular shop.

I purchase a Nokia 3230 IMEI No. [protected], Date of purchase 17/10/2007, But the same date phone are disputed I go to the shop there I purchase the phone then they told me that you go to Nokia Customer Care, I go there but the phone ate same disputed and go and go and go…. Then they told me you give me I sent to the company. Name of the Nokia Customer Care are: Anand and Co. P-161, V.I.P.Road, Scheme VII M, Kolkata-700054(Nokia Customer Care Ph. No. [protected]), they told me your phone are now Delhi, Bombay, Company, Etc. One day I cannot use the phone.

So, please replace the phone (Nokia 3230 IMEI No. [protected]) or back my money. As soon as possible. Other wise I go to the Police Station or other places.

Last Week, A Friend of Mine Visited Me With his E62, that is just brought three Weeks Back, Asking Me to Check His Mobile, If There was Any Virus In It.

I gave it a Try by Loading My Favorite 100 % Fool proof Kaspersky. And Told Him there were none.

The Problem with the Mobile was that, somehow the Joystick did not work and the Email Key Got Depressed (Depressing is the Correct Word ...IT WAS indeed a depressing Experience) automatically on the thought of pressing Any Other Key.

I told him, as the Set was under warranty, I better not put my screw driver to it and rather asked him to take him to a nearest service centre.

Next Day Morning, The First Customer ( Bakra .. I will call him henceforth ) at the Service Centre, was my dear friend( Sometimes, even I hate his punctuality, and I think, even he regrets now). Welcomed with a cheesy smile, the phone was documented and taken for repairs.

Within a Sparkle of time, the Service Centre Operator Came Up With a Glee and a Sparkling Smile, that There is Water Logged in the Cell. ¿ . My Friend just sunk with his heart in the Logged Water as the So called Service Centre Executive ( Executioner) mentioned.

The Phone Just Bought in Summer and the Friend is not a person to carry his Cell in the Loo, where most people drop them, while exchanging SMSes, asked him to show the damage.

After Few minutes of waiting, He Got to See the Flooding in the cell phone, All Clogged in Water. My Friend Was So Surprised and Speechless. The Service Centre Was a Good Psychoanalytic kind of person, who told him, look, the Chip need to be replaced and will cost him 900 bucks.

My Friend, seeing no other options, gave him a go. By the Time in an Hour he contacted me and explained me the scenario, I asked him to bring back the Handset At Once. This Bakra, went back asked him the handset. ...LO and Behold!!!(Sometime, i do like to use the wordsworthian) "Your Handset is ready Came the Reply" So Prompt for a Service like Nokia ...

Chip Did he Replaced? The Gentlemen Will fully told him that it is a Crystal IC (my version: Integrated Circuit) / (Their Version: I’ll Cash)]. I told him to Ask the number, which was not provided by him, saying it is called a Crystal IC. Even a Part Number was Not Given, Which I am sure of Every Engineering Company Follows.

Being An Engineer Myself, I have never seen an IC, which are not numbered. Secondly I hardly believe that the Service of the Said Part Did ever happen, as the instruments for Soldering such a precision Component would never be there in such a small service centre.

Now, the Phone Lies at the Service centre, waiting to be done by their Head Office Repair Centre.

The Atrocities of the Nokia Service Centers:

1. First Problem 8 Out Of 10, they will point out Water Logging and Water Clogging.

Never take this service Centers By their Words. Ask them to Pack it up and Go to another. Most reliable one i found is at Andheri Sakinaka in Mumbai, which I assume is not a franchise like the one, my friend got webbed.

The Incident Happened At the Cellular World Borivali Shimpoli Service Centre Near Gokhale College and I think it is a High Time These Service Centers get ethical to their business, else, they will have to face a consequence, that will drag them down on the roads.


While My Friend Still Waits For the Handset to Come Back. With No Real Feedback .Please Pass this Story To Every One You Know, I am Sure Each One Of Has Been A BAKRA once or many times by these Crooked Nokia Service Centers.

Nokia — pathetic services at nokia care

dear sir,
this is to inform you that i purchased a nokia cell phone, model 5310 two months back. there was a problem in its display just a few days later and i had given it to the nokia centre at secunderabad. and it has been a month now, i haven't received my cell phone back.
every time i call them they say that it has been sent to the company as there is some problem with the motherboard and needs to be replaced. if that is the case then the cell phone should be replaced and i should receive a new set as it is still well within the warranty period.

I have just suffered from the same kind of problem with two of my nokia handsets(e65 and e61i).Only god knows how long it will take nokia to fix them.Nokia has had my e65 for over 3 weeks.Even i want to switch to another brand.If you could please tell me what brand you have switched over to and how is the service there.
